World-Class
Mary and her team have always been nothing short of world-class. Before finding them, my house was at risk of being force sold because of a jealous and stubborn ex. Not only did Mary ensure I was able to keep my home, afterwards she has been a trusted expert when the crazy ex does bubble back up sometimes. 10 of 10, would use again!

I have been dealing with a big big landlord that owns thousands of homes and they just were unwilling to work with me on certain things and tried to charge me for stuff they should not be charging me for. Mary helped me to work through it with them and is continuing to do so. It was a big weight lifted off my shoulders just knowing that I had her behind me

Fair & Trustworth...you never feel like you are being milked for time
Mary and her staff are fair, competent, and really work to get your matter handled with the experience needed to make good choices. Her relaxed nature and tenacity to get the matter settled really makes you feel at ease.

Excellent, honest and fair legal representation

Contract Law collection support
As contractors from time to time we would have clients that signed contracts, but opted out of paying their final invoices. Mary Hone helped us cut these losses dramatically by informing the clients of the Theft of Services law. It usually just took one letter explaining the legality of this law and they would pay us.

Grateful Client
Mary worked on 3 lawsuits for me after another lawyer had been unable to resolve them. Mary was very easy to work with and did not waste my time. We settled 2 of them and won the third. I highly recommend her as a lawyer. FYI these were all real estate related.

A Honesty Attorney... how often do you hear that?
Ms. Hone is the most honest attorney we have ever dealt with. We had just about given up hope on finding an attorney that would be willing to accept our real estate case. Ms. Hone not only took our case, but she fought hard to have the truth be known regarding our dispute. She is honesty, knowledgeable and is willing to go the extra mile to win a case. She worked closely with us, sincerely listened to our very complicated situation and immediately jumped in to straighten it all out. We highly recommend Ms. Hone for any probate/will cases, inaddition, if she can't help you, she will refer you to the most reputable attorneys that specialize in your area of need. Bad Advice and Then Stranded Before Resolution
Mary convinced us we had a case against our former landlord. After writing two letters for us, we were told by our former landlords attorney that they would be filing a lawsuit against us. Instead of defending us and the direction in which she convinced us to go, Mary chose that moment to change her practice and discontinue representing us. She did at least refer us to a new attorney who was fantastic - honest and professional. In fact, he told us that we had been misguided by Mary the whole time. Complete waste of time and money. Look elsewhere.

Lesson learned; we paid her for NOTHING.
We hired her because we lost almost $5k to a dating service which did not do as promised. She wanted her $450 to send them a letter telling that we intended to sue, and got it, and then did NOTHING until I finally contacted her to see what was going on, if anything. For the money, the least we expected was a follow up call to say they had not responded, but instead she did nothing until I reached out, and then all she had to say was that she guessed they decided to ignore the letter. Perhaps I am naive about the way the legal system works, but I didn't think we expected too much, considering what we paid her. Maybe all lawyers work that way, but I sure hope not. $450 down the drain as well as the $5k; lesson learned.
