Mary convinced us we had a case against our former landlord. After writing two letters for us, we were told by our former landlords attorney that they would be filing a lawsuit against us. Instead of defending us and the direction in which she convinced us to go, Mary chose that moment to change her ...practice and discontinue representing us. She did at least refer us to a new attorney who was fantastic - honest and professional. In fact, he told us that we had been misguided by Mary the whole time. Complete waste of time and money. Look elsewhere.

We hired her because we lost almost $5k to a dating service which did not do as promised. She wanted her $450 to send them a letter telling that we intended to sue, and got it, and then did NOTHING until I finally contacted her to see what was going on, if anything. For the money, the least we expe...cted was a follow up call to say they had not responded, but instead she did nothing until I reached out, and then all she had to say was that she guessed they decided to ignore the letter. Perhaps I am naive about the way the legal system works, but I didn't think we expected too much, considering what we paid her. Maybe all lawyers work that way, but I sure hope not. $450 down the drain as well as the $5k; lesson learned.

I have been dealing with a big big landlord that owns thousands of homes and they just were unwilling to work with me on certain things and tried to charge me for stuff they should not be charging me for. Mary helped me to work through it with them and is continuing to do so. It was a big weight lift...ed off my shoulders just knowing that I had her behind me
