Biography
After growing up in Illinois and New York City, Steven joined the Army in 2002 and deployed to Iraq twice as a squad leader. While in the military, he graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Management from Chaminade University of Honolulu and continued on to earn his MBA. Steven was then awarded a merit scholarship to Arizona Summit Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor and gained practical experience from established attorneys throughout the Valley.
Prior to starting Steven M. Jackson Law Group, Steven worked at J.P. Morgan Chase, focusing on federal compliance, specifically the Patriot Act, Bank Secrecy Act and Dodd-Frank Act. There, he gained valuable experience analyzing trusts, wills, and organizational documents for high net worth and ultra high net worth clients. Steven then began working for Dana and Associates, where he created estate plans, helped clients through Probate and Trust Administration, and was able to work through litigation issues on behalf of clients.
Steven is active in multiple community and legal organizations. He is a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). He enjoys hiking, traveling, sports and music. Steve currently resides in Scottsdale with his wife and two children. He enjoys being able to counsel and assist clients through the estate planning process.
