We really did not want to hire a lawyer to move ahead with what seemed to be a simple child support / custody case but under AZ law, they pretty much push you into doing it when the other party's lawyer is using every scare tactic in the book to make their client look more than he/she really is. We d...id our research and found Tracy and during our initial meetings we made it clear we wanted this 'younger lawyer' to be schooled and to back off as she did not have that long of a career and should have been simple and quick enough to get this case over with. Tracey said she had dealt with the other lawyer several times and it would be simple enough. But then really what goes as simple as that? Tracy would argue with us on the simplest things and the wants we had when we KNEW we could have and ask for them more so that she fought us more that the other lawyer. It was maddening the fact we had to tell her what the laws were and what our rights were and she pushed back and pushed back and then saw we had the right to ask for those things and more times than not, got them! We were at the point we had to fight two lawyers: theirs and ours! She actually did as much damage to our case than good. We had to check and recheck her correspondences to us and to the other lawyer and they were almost always wrong or missing key information we fully requested. Maybe she is good in long drawn out cases or maybe those who have reviewed her with 5 stars never had interaction with a lawyer before and thought she was great because she is pleasant and tries to be nice, but as someone who has dealt with many lawyers in the past both professionally and personally, we would have been better off saving over $10K and going at it alone, OR we should have hired the other lawyer seeing how hard she fought with no real ground to stand on from the opposing client. Don't let her rating fool you as it did fool us - we felt she was an over priced paper pusher with most of the paper being filled out with what we put on it, not her. Cannot and will not recommend her.

All I can say is that I came in the Friday before my Monday 9:00 AM Court Date and handed her all my evidence of domestic abuse. Without delay, Mrs. Augustin looked through my evidence and conjured up a plan of approach. The items I thought were the most condemning were not as useful as I thought. Mr...s. Augustin was quick point that out and even faster telling me which items were more useful than the others. If it wasn’t for Tracy I’d be running for my life. I will never forget how great she was and she is the first on my list if the need arises again.

Divorce is horrible. Thankfully, Tracy is wonderful! I am so glad I hired Tracy to represent me. She is compassionate, empathetic, sincere, and SO knowledgeable. Her work ethic is second to none. She returns messages almost immediately and will keep you well informed every step of the way. You wi...ll not be her only client but you will definitely feel like you are. She's not just a very skilled attorney, she's a wonderful person. I hired Tracy after being served divorce papers but my goal was to NOT divorce. When I told Tracy that, I expected her to laugh me out of the room, but instead she said okay, let's get to work! Tracy has a vast skill set and can approach each hurdle from a variety of angles. She handled every step of my case with such skill and professionalism, and I am so happy with the conclusion (legal separation for now). I hate divorce and I sure hope I don't ever need her services again (sorry Tracy! ;-) ), unless it's to convert my separation back to full marriage. I am so happy I hired Tracy Augustin. I retained Mrs Augustin for child custody case that involved parenting time and modification of child support. I struggled with this issue on my own for years, and couldn't even get a court date. Client Communication and Case Preparation: She was always available ether through phone or email. She responded promptly, to all inquires. She knew the law, and made great recommendations on what was appropriate, and advised me when things where not appropriate as concerning the law. She let me review every document before she filed them. She got quick response (direct) from the court. Even after the case was settled, she had the minute entries by the next morning. She made sure I had copies of every document filed. The Hearing: She called me before hand to discuss what was going to happen, and explain what was expected of me. She did this in plain english, not lawyer talk. She had a very professional demeanor. She looked like a lawyer that meant business. She arrived early, and met with me on my time before the hearing. She came prepared with all of the necessary documents, and spoke to me to put me at ease. Then when the hearing begin, she got straight to the point. Her argument was precise and intelligent. She left nothing out. Her aggressiveness and approach was appropriate for the case and situation. It was apparent that the judge respected her. The judge granted everything we asked for and more! A great weight lifted off of my shoulders, and I felt relief for the first time in years. For me, Mrs Augustin was a God Send, and I highly recommend her. If you want a lawyer that is honest with you, straight up, professional then hire Mrs Augustin. Tracy Augustin is not the first lawyer I’ve hired, but she is definitely the best lawyer.
