My husband and I were in an accident in 2011 in which my husband lost his leg and my elbow was shattered. The other driver fell asleep and crossed the center line. While recovering in the hospital, a dear friend strongly suggested we contact Randy. Randy came to visit us in the hospital immediately. We were in such bad shape; we could not even think straight. Randy explained, very clearly, what we could expect in the coming months and, as it turned out, years. He was patient and very kind. We could not know, but he did, that our journey was just beginning. My husband and I had both been in law enforcement for many years but this awful situation was totally out of our comfort zone. Randy is such an experienced and remarkable attorney. He took us through every miserable situation we encountered, some of which had nothing to do with the accident but everything to do with our state of mind. We had conversations when I was in tears but Randy heard me out and then very gently explained the law and how the system worked. The news was not always good, and nothing would ever give us back what we had lost but Randy really gave us hope - not that we would be millionaires when it was over but that we WOULD get through it with his help. And we did. And, truthfully, I learned a lot during our talks. I really learned to so much about the law and the medical system in our country from Randy. Our accident was almost 6 years ago yet I still talk to him about how we are doing, milestones in our lives, our granddaughter (who was with us that day), and our everyday life. We are firm believers that we are masters of our own lives, that we make a choice every day to get up or stay down. Randy made our choice to get up and fight, very hard, much more bearable. I am not sure how we would have survived without Randy's guidance, expertise, and professionalism. If, God forbid, you ever experience a devastating event in your life, please pick up the phone and call Randy. Our phone call that day was the smartest call we have ever made!
Being in a car accident is a frightening situation but when you add the legalities, mounting bills and missed days of work, it becomes unbearable! I do not know what I would have done without the professionalism and expertise of Randall Hinsch and his legal team. He not only provided answers to my never-ending questions, but ensured that I remained informed of every new development or findings throughout my case. Although Randy's expertise is top notch, it was his overall client care that set him apart from your regular accident attorney.
Hiring Mr. Randall Hinsch as my accident attorney was the best thing that came out of a frightening and scary situation.

I was born in South Bend, Indiana. I was mostly raised in Tempe, Arizona, where I went to McClintock High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in 1982 and graduated law school with my Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University in 1985. I went to work for a small litigation firm in Phoenix, Arizona, to gain trial experience immediately while being able to provide clients the hands-on, personable representation often missing from larger firms. I joined the law firm of Plattner Verderame, P.C. in 1992, again enjoying the opportunity given in a small litigation firm to provide personal, quality representation to clients. I became a Partner in 2001. I have been licensed to practice in Arizona since 1985. I am a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. I also have licensure with the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona. My practice focus has been centered on wrongful death, trucking accidents and personal injury and medical malpractice. I am a State Bar of Arizona Certified Specialist in Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation. According to the State Bar of Arizona, less than 2% of lawyers in Arizona have this specialty certification. In 2011, I was selected as of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers. ().
In addition to helping clients, my wife and I and our daughters support Friends for Life, , a no-kill shelter for dogs and cats in Gilbert, Arizona, including fostering dogs until permanent homes can be found for them.

Fantastic lawyer, honest and hard working
Randall (Randy) Hinsch initially met with me and spent more than an hour introducing me to the new world of litigation I had just met up with and how long it would probably take.
Not a friendly world either, one that was going to be fraught with sleepless nights and many questions.
Randy was patient to the end, he never kept me in the dark on anything. He explained what was going on, and why it was going on.
The defense lawyers used dirty tricks to the N’th degree, but Randy was able to dig through all of that and found the real facts of the case.
When it finally came to the end, Randy and his partner (Richard Plattner) were there for 9 hours of arguing and got my case concluded satisfactorily to me.
I cannot begin to express how much I appreciate the honesty, and hard work, that the partners in Plattner Verderame, P.C. put in for me and seeing my case through to the end.
I am deeply indebted to them, and I will never forget them.
I write this on 21 April 2011 a day after my case closed. That took 3 years, 4 months....
Thank you Randy ever so much,
John
