Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I endorse this lawyer. I worked with him for more than a year at Gila River Indian Community when I was a prosecutor and he was a contract public defender and private criminal defense attorney. He was always a pleasure to work with and seemed most interested in seeing that justice was done. That's just so rare and refreshing these days. He was not one to put on airs to make himself look more impressive or try to bully me into submission; he just told me what he knew and what he thought would be a reasonable plea offer. I didn't always agree with him 100 percent, but his being so laser-focused on the best possible outcome made my job easier in helping us reach an expedient and fair compromise in many cases, avoiding a lengthy, emotionally draining and time-intensive trial with a totally unpredictable result whether by judge or jury. I would recommend him to any criminal defendants needing competent, compassionate, calculated representation.
