I had many questions about my pending court case as one might assume, never having run into trouble with the law & living out of state. This was clearly a bother to Michelle and she made me feel like she was not "fighting for me" but simply would reply to the messages she found worthy of her time. In...stead of taking the time to calmly reply (to the select messages she found the time for), she reacted in a blunt, bothered way and never once made me feel reassured about my fate. She was very snarky & unprofessional in many of her emails and if I needed clarification on something, she very clearly made me aware of the annoyance this caused her. We had a terrible first plea deal that charged me with a dui and I would have to use an interlock device and spend $1,900 in fines with alcohol classes, suspended license and traffic survival school. As Michelle got ready for trial and found a few things that could help my case she was able to get the prosecutor to give me a new plea deal. Ended up with a conforming reckless charge and no interlock device with only one day in jail (just going to be positive and think of it as a bucket list item) and 15 hours of community service. The proc...ess began back in January of this year and keep in mind that the case was finally ended yesterday 8/12/17 with ALL CHARGES DISMISSED! Back off and let her concentrate and focus on the case ahead because that is the biggest picture. I never regret hiring Michelle because she was not only knowledgeable about the law, she was fierce with a don’t back down kind of attitude that I knew was going to win our case if indeed it did go to trial and it did, bench trial.
