Emily A. Swenson

Emily Swenson is an excellent attorney. she knows what phone calls to make, who to contact, and gets things done when she said she's going to. the court clerk made an error when sending information to the jail and she had it straightened out within a couple hours, she has always called me right back ...or email me to let me know exactly what's going on. I would recommend her to anybody.I am very grateful I hired her as an attorney.

always late to appointments, never returned calls i paid all upfront cash and went more with the prosecutor's wanted... no evidence.. no case and my loved one has been waiting for sentencing almost a year , did not look very interested in the case.... for the "crime" committed, THAT PUNISHMENT IS NO...T EVEN CLOSE TO FAIR, OR REASONABLE!!!! seemed unorganized i felt i should have been paid...

She was very personable and caring of my sons situation even though he had made some bad choices. When I would call and she was in court or an appointment, she would get back with me the same day and answer my questions putting my mind at ease. I was very thankful she was willing to let me make payme...nts on my sons case. My son and I both recommend her to anyone we know when they find themselves in trouble too.

What she failed to do was give my son good legal help in court. When it was over she would not return any phone calls. There was a few questions I wanted to ask her on why she didnt try to get him a good deal in court. She went with what the prosicuter wanted which was way to much for the crime calle...d for. I agree he should face the consquences for his actions but the punishment he got was out of control. She said that she would look into seeing about getting him permit to drive to and from work and work related things that was connected with his job. She did not even do that. I feel that she saw easy money and took advantage of that and did not really care about the case at hand. She did the same thing to someone I refered to her. I feel the services by her was not worth any of the money that was paid to her. I am extremely dissatisfied and feel she should return my money for the poor job she did. I intend to take futher action on this and hopefully she wont do this to anybody else. I would not recommend this attorney to anybody.

My son and I hired Emily in March of 2013 when he surrendered himself after being on the run for two years. He was looking at one year in jail, and Emily managed to get him 30 days and termination. I have referred many people to Emily Swenson, all of which have been more than pleased with her practic...e. I am vary familiar with the challenges in finding a good attorney, and it is almost impossible to find one who has the past experience's as she does. No regrets.
