Samuel A Goble

I hired Sam Goble for a probate matter, to help me protect my dear mother's legacy, her uncontested will and my legal standing as her personal representative and her sole heir. Sam Goble failed to take proper actions to protect my legal position. His failures caused my mother's legally prepared, u...ncontested will to be disrespected and dishonored, and my entire inheritance to be lost to disinherited-by-name offspring. Sam Goble failed to do important legal work, used delay tactics, kept me uninformed and in the dark, refused to provide communications with opposing counsel, and then lost my entire inheritance. Sam Goble failed to provide proper legal counsel for peripheral issues causing me to miss a statute of limitations date on a valid medical malpractice matter. The firm had a disinterested approach causing me and my important legal matter to be put off and disregarded. The firm drew down thousands of dollars in retainer in the first month claiming it was Sam Goble's "review of documents"; but then months and months went by with zero action and Sam Goble forgot about the facts - the same facts that never wavered or changed. Necessary subpoenas weren't done at all and one that was completed was rejected by the entity for improper preparation, and was not pursued thereafter. I terminated the services of Sam Goble in Oct, 2020, 6 months after hiring him. I disputed line items in billings along the way; but received negative pushback and then more billings for the time to answer my original billing questions. I've filed a formal complaint at the Utah State Bar, Office of Professional Conduct. Sam Goble has been notified that my truthful complaint has been filed. He is required to respond to the OPC. His lack of action and follow-up and abject failures cost my dear mother her legally prepared legacy and his failures caused me to lose my rightful inheritance + cost me more attorney fees to retain an appellate level Salt Lake City lawyer to address the judicial nightmare. Competent counsel in Salt Lake City was retained, a valid Motion for Reconsideration was filed and I took back what had been lost. Sam Goble was ill-prepared and lacked competency. I do not recommend the legal services of Sam Goble. RIP Mom <3

Sam Goble is an excellent attorney! In the process of selling my home I was informed that a lien had been placed on my home 14 years prior that I knew nothing about. The other side was being completely unreasonable and would not listen to reason. I hired Sam and he had a resolution for me 48 hours af...ter I gave him the paperwork. He was able to negotiate with the other side and settled the debt for a fraction of what they were originally asking. Sam took so much stress out of my life. He kept me updated every step of the way. I would definitely recommend him!

I was arrested by police and put in jail for a few hours. I felt that the reason why they did it not fair and contact mr Goble for advise. He was a very attentive and paid a great attention to the details. He was agree with me that police could of find another solution in my situation. When he repres...ented me he was sharp and reasonable . The case was dropped. Thank you mr Goble!
