Brandon Uriah Luna

Like many of you probably reading lawyer reviews right now after getting a DUI/DWAI I was scared and upset and ready to talk with just about anyone about my case. I called several lawyers in the area and they all said the same thing, "we are going to fight till the end and your record will be clean "...blah blah blah" and honestly, it felt like many lawyers were making empty promises. Colorado DUI laws are tough and if you are truly guilty in your situation no amount of money is going to get you out of it, you have to live with the consequences. With that being said, when I first talked to Brandon Luna I could tell that he was honest, he didn't give me false expectations but he did say he would look for anything he could find to help me out and that's what he did. While the criminal case was pretty much set in stone (i had in fact done the deed) he negotiated a plea bargain and made me feel so much better everytime we were in court. It felt like I could just leave him to worry about the problem and continue to focus on my work. There were several times where I couldn't be at court and he was there on my behalf. As for the DMV I was charged with a persistent drunk driving charge that would have resulted in a two-year interlock requirement despite the fact that my second blood test came back under the limit of .15 (the threshold considered for PDD). It was a rough day but Brandon saw flaws in the way the hearing officer dealt with my case and explained that we had a shot at an appeal. He worked so hard on the appeal, kept me updated throughout the process, and kept my expectations in check--which is really important when you are dealing with something like this. You could say he was like my DUI spirit guide if you will. Anyways when all was said and done we actually won the appeal saving me a significant amount of time and money that would have gone towards having the device in my car for two years. I am so glad that money went to Brandon versus the court. Like I said hiring him was the best decision I could have made after doing something stupid. The criminal system is scary and really complicated, and there are certain things that are hard to know without a lawyer by your side--I'm certainly glad Brandon was by mine.

When I got busted I keep thinking my life was over. That my mistake would follow me all my life but then I got in contact with Brandon. From there everything changed. He took over my case with a reassuring smile and genuine kindness. He did everything regarding my case so that I wouldn't have to lift... a finger unless absolutely necessary. Which not only put my mind to ease but allowed me to get on with my life knowing that everything would be okay. Today I can proudly say that this is true. Couldn't have gotten a better lawyer. I hope I never have to have him represent me again but I do I will call Brandon without hesitation everytime.

Brandon is the shark in a fish tank. He answers our phone calls night or day holiday or not. He is always there and has been our life vest in our sinking ship. We trust him with our lives. He is working multiple cases for our family and I can always count on him to be there, he definitely shows up ...when others don't. He is honest and very straight forward if he thinks we have a case or not. He never would put our family in harms way. I have recommended him to other people and they have had the same luck as my family!

Brandon is a very good lawyer. I received my first DUI and he was able to drop it down to a DWAI and get me all the minimums. Brandon knew the ins and outs of the whole process and helped me through every step. Having Brandon's guiding hand greatly reduced my stress throughout the anxious time period... of waiting for sentencing. This has greatly helped me in not allowing one dumb decision to ruin the rest of my life and moving forward in the easiest way possible. I would recommend maybe not paying the extra fee to get his assistance in the dmv trial unless you think you have solid grounds for the breathalyzer to have been illegally used on you or you had a low BAC.
