Individual

Joel guided me through a difficult situation with an x-spouse with the utmost professionalism. His responses to my questions were always answered very promptly and understandable to an non-law person. I would highly recommend him as an attorney as I feel he is ethical and truly cares what is best f...or his clients.

Great Attorney!

I hired Joel Pratt as my attorney in a common law divorce case in which my ex-wife was in contempt. There were many moving pieces and me being overseas was the biggest factor to overcome, Joel was up to the task. When my case was brought before the magistrate the first time (for the contempt hearing)..., Joel Pratt was efficient, well prepared and made short work of our time in the court room. Ex-wife was ordered to comply and an attorney's fee hearing was set. I wasn't as satisfied with the outcome of the attorney fee's hearing, but no one can control what the magistrate will order. I was able to recoup some of my attorneys fees, but only about 10% of them (maybe less), despite being protected via court order for reimbursement for reasonable attorney's fees to the prevailing party but the magistrate ordered a small portion of them. However Joel did follow up that hearing by advising that there were still options available for me to recoup the lost attorneys fees. But by this point, I was at the end of a 5 year, ugly legal battle with my ex-wife, and she was (at that point) out of my life for good. No amount of money is worth losing sanity over. I cut my losses and moved on. If it would come to it again, I would retain Joel Pratt in a heart beat!! He will have your legal best interest at hand and will protect you to the letter of the law! He's not the tallest gentleman in person, but he is 10 feet tall in the courtroom and I was proud to be represented by him! Thank you for everything Joel!!
