Lauryn Kristyne Tully

Lauryn Tully received her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and her juris doctorate from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. There, Ms. Tully graduated as a member of The Order of the Barristers, given to a select group of graduating seniors being recognized for their performance in trial advocacy, grades, and involvement on campus.

Ms. Tully’s entire education and schooling has been dedicated to advocacy and criminal defense. While attending law school she obtained experience working on clients’ behalves with the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office and The Office of the Federal Public Defender’s in the Eastern District of California.

During Ms. Tully’s final year of law school, she was asked to join the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office Ms. Tully worked as a public defender in the Colorado Springs Trial Office. She handled both misdemeanor and felony dockets where she was able to aggressively advocate for her clients. After working as a deputy public defender, Ms. Tully joined a private criminal defense firm in Colorado Springs as an associate attorney. There, Ms. Tully expanded her experience to taking on cases throughout many parts of Colorado.

Ms. Tully has represented hundreds of clients facing a variety of criminal charges and revocation matters, included but not limited to: domestic violence, juveniles, assault, harassment, DUI/DWAI, theft, burglary, trespassing, attempted murder, child abuse, sex offenses and various traffic offenses. In addition, Ms. Tully has represented many military members facing criminal charges, as well as, individuals who live out of the state of Colorado charged with a crime here.

During her time in Colorado, Ms. Tully has coached a local high school during their mock trial season. In addition, she has volunteered time to judge local and state level mock trial competitions for high school and college level aspiring advocates.
