Lauryn Kristyne Tully

Lauryn Tully is the owner and managing attorney of the Law Office of Lauryn Tully, a Colorado Springs based criminal defense firm founded in 2019. She represents clients across El Paso County and throughout Colorado in cases ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. In addition to her work in the courtroom, Ms. Tully manages a dedicated legal team and mentors interns and aspiring attorneys, fostering the next generation of criminal defense advocates.

Ms. Tully earned her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating as a member of The Order of the Barristers—an honor given to a select group of graduating seniors recognized for excellence in trial advocacy, academic achievement, and leadership.

Her legal career has been dedicated exclusively to criminal defense. While in law school, she gained valuable courtroom experience with the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office and the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the Eastern District of California. During her final year, she was recruited by the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office and served as a trial attorney in the Colorado Springs office, handling both misdemeanor and felony cases. She later joined a private criminal defense firm before opening her own practice to provide clients with the individualized representation they deserve.

Over the years, Ms. Tully has represented hundreds of clients in matters including:

Assault, harassment, and theft

Burglary, trespassing, and property crimes

She has also defended military service members and out-of-state residents facing criminal charges in Colorado.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Tully is passionate about mentorship and legal education. She regularly takes on law students and interns, providing hands-on training in trial preparation, case strategy, and client advocacy. She has coached a local high school mock trial team and has volunteered as a judge for both high school and college-level mock trial competitions.
