Brad Laybourne worked tirelessly on my case for almost 3 years. This being my first time needing a lawyer, I started by researching where he went to school. Our son was recently named in an unfounded, false and potentially defamatory accusation. I was rearended while at a stop light, and my daughter was in the car, too. We were both pretty seriously injured. When I was slapped with an unfounded charge of domestic violence harassment over an incident with an ex-boyfriend and the Manitou Springs Police Department I was angry, scared, and confused. Brad took my case and informed me of all the ways it could play out while assuring me of his competence in thi...s specific area of law. He let me know straight away about all of the tools we had at our disposal to prove my story and come to a reasonable outcome in the situation. He treated me as someone capable of understanding the process instead of simplifying things to an elementary level of, "don't worry about it". I am not sure if this is because the "victim" did not show up, the DA didn't have any evidence, or it was something Brad himself had fought for in his conversation with them. Regardless, not only did he stick around through the entire process but he also refunded my father the full amount paid and advised me on the steps I can take in the coming months to have this accusation sealed from my public record. He is friendly, personable, professional and clearly has a a tight grip on his profession and knowledge of the law. I will definitely hire him again when it is time to seal this from my record, as well as for any other legal proceedings in my future.

He was always prepared and always brilliant. Best of all, he kept me prepared throughout the process.
