Biography
Brad Laybourne specializes in Personal Injury, DUI Defense, Car Accidents, Criminal Defense, Motorcycle Accidents, Domestic Violence Defense and Evictions. He comes from a long line some of the country's finest legal minds. In 1911, his great-grandfather, Paul Laybourne, started the family tradition of advancing the cause of justice, one client at a time.
Brad was educated at Stanford University and the University of California. After graduation, he practiced corporate law in Silicon Valley. He then accepted a prestigious and fascinating opportunity to write legal opinions for the Supreme Court of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Brad moved to Colorado Springs in 2004 to forge his courtroom skills as an elite prosecutor, where he won many convictions and was honored with the "Tradition of Excellence" award for winning a difficult child abuse case in 2005.
Brad transitioned into private practice in 2007, where his success in the courtroom has continued. He was named "Top Attorney" by Colorado Springs Style Magazine, "Best of the Springs" by The Gazette newspaper, and Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers magazine. He is also a member of Mensa, the high IQ society.
