Don't wait until the last minute to get a lawyer. In my case Associated Bank made me believe they were working with me to stop my foreclosure but they weren't. The Bank sent me three letters with three different dates 01/02, 01/26, and 01/10. I called the bank multiple times as soon as I received the... 3rd letter changing the date of the 26th to the 10th. Associated Bank never returned my calls. The bank finally called me on 01/02 at 8:30 am to tell me they were bringing me to court that very day at 10:00 am January 2nd 2013.
