Ryan Allen Dawson-Erdman

I'm Ryan Dawson-Erdman, a criminal defense attorney based in Boulder, Colorado. I founded Dawson Law because I believe that everyone — regardless of the charges they're facing — deserves a tenacious advocate who will fight for them at every stage of the legal process.

My practice is focused exclusively on criminal defense. I represent clients facing charges ranging from white collar crimes like embezzlement and fraud to serious felonies involving allegations of sexual assault, hit and run, and more. No two cases are the same, and I approach each one by digging into the details, identifying weaknesses in the prosecution's case, and building a defense strategy that is specific to my client's situation and goals.

I earned my law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and have been practicing in Colorado since 2016. Over the course of my career, I've developed a deep understanding of how Colorado's criminal courts operate — and how to navigate them effectively on behalf of the people I represent. That experience has been recognized through my selection to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list each year from 2022 through 2026.
