I was pulled over for speeding and very questionably brought in for a breathalizer after roadside tests, resulting in a charge of DWAI. I did NOT want a criminal charge on my record and believed that there were many issues with how I was arrested and charged. However, my options were extremely limit...ed. Barry was an absolute life saver. Even when the DA made it absolutely clear over many months that they would not budge on my case and planned to take me to trial, Barry stood his ground. The entire time he was honest with his guidance, outlining all of our options. Our case resulted in an actual trial in front of a jury, which took place over 13 grueling hours. Curve balls were thrown at us left and right, including the state entering a "surprise" witness to try and refute my account and breath results. At the end of it all, my trial resulted in a NOT GUILTY verdict from the jury (and rightfully so). Barry won this case where many others would not have. Mr. Lancaster is an absolute professional and ensured that justice was served. I feel like a tremendous burden has been lifted off my back. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was 1600 miles from Denver in S. Carolina when I was served with a temporary restraining order from my ex-wife.. It was on the evening of Friday the 13th.. I began researching attorneys in the Denver area who were skilled in such defense, and on Saturday morning, I desperately tried to contact a ...few that seemed to be good candidates. Above all else I knew I was innocent, but moreover, I knew that I could not afford to lose - my job requires a very clean background.. Long story short, I chose Barry Lancaster, and although he was not the cheapest, even before I had retained/hired him, he asked the best questions and was much quicker at gathering information. This was very important because I was due in court, in only 5 days! We worked together at such a long distance and 2 hr difference in time zones to dig through yrs worth of data, to make an airtight case. When the hearing took place, Barry coached me on courtroom edicate so that I wouldn't ruin my own strong position. My accuser had issued this order back on 4/29, but I was not served until 5/13; and yet on 5/19 I had secured council, and she had not. Of course, I then am left with paying for proving my innocence - but there is no doubt that had I not gotten council, and good council - namely Barry Lancaster, this may have cost me so much more - even my very livelihood! Bottom line: very professional and thorough; very insightful and personable.
