Barry Christian Hart Lancaster

I had a DWAI against me from 2015 and Barry worked with me through it from the time I contacted him with regular calls and updates. He explained to me the various options I had and understood my position and why I couldn't take some of the options. He explained to me all the due paperwork required ...and ensured they were submitted on time. Moreover, his assessment of the DA, judges, and the case within the legal framework were very helpful in decision making. In the end I had a very favorable verdict and the charges have been dismissed.

I was 1600 miles from Denver in S. Carolina when I was served with a temporary restraining order from my ex-wife.. It was on the evening of Friday the 13th.. I began researching attorneys in the Denver area who were skilled in such defense, and on Saturday morning, I desperately tried to contact a ...few that seemed to be good candidates. Above all else I knew I was innocent, but moreover, I knew that I could not afford to lose - my job requires a very clean background.. Long story short, I chose Barry Lancaster, and although he was not the cheapest, even before I had retained/hired him, he asked the best questions and was much quicker at gathering information. This was very important because I was due in court, in only 5 days! We worked together at such a long distance and 2 hr difference in time zones to dig through yrs worth of data, to make an airtight case. When the hearing took place, Barry coached me on courtroom edicate so that I wouldn't ruin my own strong position. My accuser had issued this order back on 4/29, but I was not served until 5/13; and yet on 5/19 I had secured council, and she had not. The judge, by the rules he is governed by, was going to grant an continuance - which would have been very costly once more to take off from work and travel across the country, not to mention additional attorney services. Barry asked the judge for a recess, and during this time, met privately with my accuser, explaining the costs involved and the airtight case he had. He then gave her an 'out' - drop all charges and have the case dismissed, or be prepared to lose & be held responsible for all bills associated with these false accusations. She took the 'out' and the case was dismissed. Of course, I then am left with paying for proving my innocence - but there is no doubt that had I not gotten council, and good council - namely Barry Lancaster, this may have cost me so much more - even my very livelihood! Bottom line: very professional and thorough; very insightful and personable.

Barry was found online by my sister who lives across the country. He was contacted on a Saturday afternoon and went to visit me in jail that same day. I had never met Barry, but he brought such comfort in this nightmare I was living in. From that point on Barry was very professional and guided me... throughout the entire case. Barry made it a point to always return a phone call when I needed anything. He is very competent and knew exactly what we were going to do from the day we first met. He made a very hard time in my life much easier for me because of his honesty and intelligence. I am very grateful for Barry for getting my case dismissed!

I never expected to be in the situation I was in, but Barry made me feel comfortable by handling everything, keeping me updated, and providing me with all the information I needed in order to make calculated and informed decisions. He was a great source of knowledge regarding most everything having t...o do with my situation, and he had no problem answering any questions I had. He fought as hard as he could to make sure I received a fair result. I felt that I was in good hands with Barry every step of the way.
