Austin Cohen was an invaluable resource and guide during a difficult time. My wife and I had mostly separate finances, each building assets in our own way, with a combined estate of more than $10 million. I didn’t realize how the courts would view this (as marital property), and that dividing it woul...d require complex valuations and backward-looking snapshots that would be hard to find or create. It felt invasive, and more complicated than I had imagined. When I called Austin, he immediately reassured me and explained the divorce process. He answered my questions without assuming any prior knowledge. Throughout, he respected my desire to keep things non-adversarial, although a more combative approach would have meant more billable hours for him.
