I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. In undergrad, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in May 2010, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice. After undergrad, I went on to earn my law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in May 2013. While in law school, I worked as a law clerk at a family law firm in Lincoln, where I first learned the ins and outs of the unique practice of family law. During my time at Nebraska Law, I was also President of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Order of the Barristers.
Prior to joining Palmer Family Law, I was a Shareholder at an AV-rated, pre-eminent Denver law firm. I regularly practice in Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Boulder, Denver, Douglas, Elbert and Jefferson counties. I have also practiced in El Paso, Larimer and Logan counties.
In every case, whether it is a dissolution of marriage, parenting time dispute, or a modification of prior orders, I work closely with each client to create and achieve their personalized goals, minimize tension and stress, and guide them through the challenges unique to family law cases. It is my goal for every client to receive specialized, focused attention. No matter the issue in the case, I am able to remain calm and not get caught up in the stresses of a case - whether that be in or out of the courtroom. I stay level-headed and think through each problem during your case with the utmost confidence. I understand that these are some of the most stressful periods in a client’s life and work toward helping each family come out of the case as strong as possible.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cheering on my beloved Nebraska Huskers!

Michael Palmer is not an attorney I would hire if you're dealing with any sort of vaccine issues with a child. I hired him during the Covid area when my ex and I were at odds over the Covid vaccine. My ex wanted it for my son, I did not. My ex brought a medical doctor to our hearing where she pro...
