Olivia grew up in England and Wales. She first attended law school at the University of Wales, Swansea and graduated Valedictorian, summa cum laude, and received the Swansea University Legal Charitable Trust Prize and the Sir Samuel Evans Award for achieving the highest grade point average in law out of the three Welsh law schools. Subsequently, Olivia pursued a Masters in Law at the University of Cambridge, Lucy Cavendish College. At Cambridge, Olivia served as the President of the Graduate Law Society and graduated with Honors.
In Colorado, Olivia received a Masters of Law in International Business Transactions and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver. Ms. Larson was the recipient of the Robert Roche Endowed Scholarship and the Crimson and Gold Law Scholarship for her academic achievements.
During law school, Olivia served as a judicial intern, writer, and researcher to the Honorable David M. Furman of the Colorado Court of Appeals. Olivia also worked as an intern with the Denver District Attorney’s Office in the Juvenile and County Court Units.
Olivia is an accomplished writer. Her works have been published in a number of academic legal journals. Olivia published her first article in Ireland, which compared different countries’ approaches to trusts and estates law and advocated for the United Kingdom to adopt a modern approach to keep up with contemporary family relationships. In addition, Olivia published a law review article in England that discussed the law enabling journalists to protect the identities of their sources in the United Kingdom.
Olivia's practice encompasses all aspects of family law and litigation involving both simple and complex domestic relations matters throughout Colorado. Olivia handles divorce and legal separation actions; child-related actions involving decision-making, parenting time, child support, relocation and adoption; post-decree modifications of parenting time, child support, maintenance; enforcement of court orders by contempt or execution of judgments; representation of parents in dependency and neglect matters, kinship, grand-parent and step-parent adoptions and paternity actions; pre-nuptial and post-nuptial marital agreements; and mediation.
