Suspension partially stayed means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. When the attorney returns to practice he or she will be on probation, meaning the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior
Jesse’s comment: “In 2006, I violated the rules of professional conduct by misrepresenting information to a bankruptcy trustee in a complex bankruptcy case. 13 years ago I thought I could outsmart the system. I was wrong. My license was suspended for 3 months. I successfully completed the probation period. I have been in good standing with the Colorado Supreme Court since then. Today, I am focused on having an ethical law practice that is focused on getting my clients the best results possible.”
