When i found myself in legal trouble i didn't know where to look. I had no one to talk to about it and I was scared for my future. I knew I had to find a lawyer right away so I came to this website to find the best. Sure enough, Mr. Ferrell was rated the best. I ended up hiring him and it was the bes...t decision i ever made! He ensured me that everything was going to be fine and not to worry. I felt so confident after that with him defending me. This is a real review from a real person! It ended up being that my case was dismissed just like he said it would. And to be honest, there is no better feeling when you are in that court room knowing that you have the best lawyer in town. So much respect is given to that man you can just feel it in the courtroom. He is by fat the best, and most professional lawyer in this town. With that being said, thank you Mr. Ferrell.

I’ve given Mr. Ferrell a 10/10 rating here. He deserves every bit of it and more! I’m a disabled grandmother from Seattle with a pristine criminal record, who recently found herself caught in the place where Texas/Federal drug laws clashed with my home state’s stand on medical cannabis. Yes, I was... naive enough to not know in advance about the U.S. Border Patrol Station in Hudspeth County. My fault totally! I admit it! It never occurred to me to research that aspect of my trip because I had no plans to actually cross the border, so I had no idea that I’d have to visit the Border Patrol and their dogs on I-10 as I traveled between El Paso and San Antonio until I hit it. Boy, was I surprised! The Border Patrol officers and the detective who came over from Hudspeth County were all very professional and courteous to me that day, all apologetic about how people with medical necessity were not their real targets … but, overall, it wasn’t an experience I’d recommend to anyone :( Through researching lawyers here on AVVO, I ended up hiring Mr. David Ferrell to represent me … and I CAN’T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM AND HOW HE HANDLED MY CASE!! Yes, it cost a chunk of money to hire him initially, but it would have been expensive to hire any good lawyer for something like this. In addition to knowing I was hiring someone with long years of experience and a vast network of local contacts—which made him more than worth his fees right off the bat—Mr. Ferrell also worked things out with the court so that I did NOT have to fly back to Texas for court dates, which saved me TONS of plane ticket/hotel/restaurant/rental car money. By the time the whole case was resolved and I added up what I could have spent –vs- what I actually spent, his initial fees were ultimately VERY reasonable! His success also exceeded my wildest hopes in this situation! I was hoping he could at least get the penalty cut down to a hefty fine, but—thanks to his expertise and a long letter from my doctor explaining why they’ve been forced to treat my chronic back pain and migraines with medical cannabis (severe allergies to traditional pain meds)—Mr. Ferrell got the DA and the judge to dismiss my case completely. Mr. Ferrell is awesome, and I couldn’t have done this without him! His staff is also top notch! They’re attentive and keep you posted, and I can’t recommend him and his team any higher than the TEN I gave them here … because AVVO won’t let me. But I would if I could! :)

I contacted Mr. Ferrell in the summer of 2014 about a 10 year old misdemeanor case. I had a warrant out for my arrest. I moved from El Paso to California shortly after the incident and pretty much left it behind me. I finally got up the nerve to deal with it. I did some research on El Paso Lawyers ...and found Mr. Ferrell on this site. I chose him because of his solid reviews and experience. I also appreciate the fact that he offers discounts to Veterans. I don't have much experience with lawyers, this is the first time I had to hire a lawyer so I didn't really know how much money and time this would take up. Based on some of the quotes I got from other El Paso lawyers, Mr. Ferrell seemed to be the most reasonable based on my case. I am aware of the saying you get what you pay for but he was one of the most experienced and highly reviewed. I also have to thank Ms. Rosprim, Mr. Ferrell's paralegal. I communicated most with her in regards to my case. She kept me well informed of my case. Long story short, Mr. Ferrell got my case dismissed. That was great news for me. I was so happy to finally put this behind me. Thank you to Mr. Ferrell and Ms. Rosprim. I will be contacting you in the future to get the case expunged.

I am writing this review because I live in another state and had to find an attorney to represent a family member in the Army who was arrested on 3 counts for something he never did. All I had to go by was internet reviews to select an attorney and everything I read pointed to Mr. Ferrell as being t...he best choice available. My husband has a law degree and used to practice law and when I showed him the results of what I found out he said "I think David Ferrell is the man you need." Mr. Ferrell and all of his staff are very professional, quick to respond, easy to talk to and very kind and helpful. All three charges were dropped as a result of Mr. Ferrell's representation. If you have cancer, you need a good doctor. If you have a legal problem, you need David J. Ferrell to represent you. He knows the law and having been a judge himself at one time knows exactly how the legal system works and how to try a case. He has the very highest ethics and is absolutely excellent in every way. You will feel so much better when you talk to him and everything that he told me worked out to be exactly as he said. Without Mr. Ferrell's representation, my family member likely would have spent a year in jail and ruined his military career. I have only the highest regard and praise for David J. Ferrell and his staff.
