David J. Ferrell

I was charged DWI by State of Texas. After some online research, I interviewed with 3 lawyers, and eventually I decided to go with Mr. Ferell due to his 30 plus years experiences as well as I feel comfortable working with him. This is my first lawsuit in my whole life (and hopefully this is the la...st time too), and with Mr.Ferrell's explanation and guidance, I knew what situation I was dealing with and what's the best and worst case scenario that I may get. He fought my case from many different angles and the "never-give-up" spirit impressed me the most. At courtroom, he did all the talking, and I felt I am in good hand all the time. I know I made a right decision hiring him and I highly recommand his service to people who need criminal defense.

I am writing this review because I live in another state and had to find an attorney to represent a family member in the Army who was arrested on 3 counts for something he never did. All I had to go by was internet reviews to select an attorney and everything I read pointed to Mr. Ferrell as being t...he best choice available. My husband has a law degree and used to practice law and when I showed him the results of what I found out he said "I think David Ferrell is the man you need." Mr. Ferrell and all of his staff are very professional, quick to respond, easy to talk to and very kind and helpful. All three charges were dropped as a result of Mr. Ferrell's representation. If you have cancer, you need a good doctor. If you have a legal problem, you need David J. Ferrell to represent you. He knows the law and having been a judge himself at one time knows exactly how the legal system works and how to try a case. He has the very highest ethics and is absolutely excellent in every way. You will feel so much better when you talk to him and everything that he told me worked out to be exactly as he said. Without Mr. Ferrell's representation, my family member likely would have spent a year in jail and ruined his military career. I have only the highest regard and praise for David J. Ferrell and his staff.

Mr. Ferrell took the fear out of the unknown when he dealt with my case. David is very experienced with the law. His experience is so strong that other defense attorney's as well as prosecutors browse his websites and pick his brain for advice. I've seen this first hand during my time with him around the courtroom in my 2 year ordeal. David who is also a former judge, ...is well known and very respected in the court room. Prosecutors shy away from going up against him with any weak cases because they know they are going to have to work hard to go against him. I am fairly certain that with a typical defense lawyer, my case would have ended up being pushed into a deal that I didn't want to take. David knew right away that there was too much not right about my case and dug a little deeper into the evidence and found a video that basically showed how misleading and twisted the police report was. Let's face it, how many police do you think are actually truly honest on their reports? My arresting officer wrongfully tazed me and then tried to twist and embellish the story to cover himself. The video showed a different story though. David actually went to the location of the incident and took photos as well as measurements. He was prepared to have a field day with the prosecution in a "Motion to Suppress" hearing. When they saw how David was ready to attack, they didn't even try, and they sent the Sherriff home. This two year ordeal took a lot of time and effort on David's part, and I just don't think you can find many lawyers out there that are willing to go the extra mile for you like David is.
