When I first walked in to Ms. Woods office I had just left a child support hearing that did not go very well for me, I was disheartened, afraid, upset and had very little hope for any help from anyone, and she was my last stop before heading back to Lubbock. I had completely given up on lawyers and j...udges and saw very little promise of ever there being an improvement in my circumstances. I had very little money and not a promise of making much more than I currently was, I was in the middle of unenforceable custody orders, and up to my eye balls in past due child support. What Ms. Woods did for me was see past the black and white on the paperwork and beyond some of the things being held against me, and beyond my financial ability to repay and dove head first in to my case with bravado and tenacity knowing full well the cards had been stacked against me pretty high. Any other lawyer would have sent me on my way packing as fast as I had walked in her office. What Ms. Woods endured during the course of was stonewall after stonewall from the opposing side as well as very little to work with during the case. Ms Woods endured countless nights of texting me after counseling sessions where I was upset and asked her endless amounts of questions. One night after a particularly horrible session she stayed on the phone with me the whole time I drove from Levelland to Lubbock until I was calmed down and able to feel comfortable with moving forward in the process. I have never been made feel like a "lost cause" or "waste of time" and her staff has also treated me with respect and dignity just as she has from the moment I walked into her office. I am confident Ms. Woods has always acted in mine and my childs best interests and always advised me to conduct myself in a manner that would never be detrimental to my case. I can't say that about the other lawyers I've had in the past for this same situation. Ms. Woods finally HEARD what I was saying and cut through the attorney jargon to finally understand what I had been enduring for the last 8 years. I without a doubt will always be indebted to Ms. Woods for her perseverance and guts to handle my custody modification. I can't be grateful enough for the hard work that has been put into my case. She has restored my opinion in lawyers and brought hope to a case that I thought I had no chance of ever making improvements on.

Ms. Woods was hands down the best decision I made regarding my case. Anytime I needed something - she was always right there. Even after our case was settled, Ms. Woods continued to eagerly answer all of my questions and concerns. Conflicts resulting in legal representation can become financially tro...ubling at times. Ms. Woods was always understanding of the financial strain. If ever placed in a legal situation again - Ms. Woods will be my first choice.

Christina is handling my custody case. She was very upfront about how the case could go, and helped me prepare for both outcomes. She keeps me in the loop whenever something happens, and is working hard on all matters. Christina has looked out for me through the entire thing.
