A friend recommended Christina to me after I was served papers from my ex suing me for custody of my son. Lost, desperate, hopeless, & afraid, I called Christina for a consultation. She was able to get me in THE FOLLOWING DAY although 2 other attorneys that I contacted could not even meet with me before my hearing. Christina patiently sat and listened to my entire story - which detailed 10years of family life and hardships - and was rather unorganized and probably seemed more like rambling than anything. But she found ways to relate to my situation & shared details of her own experiences. She took the time to empathize & listen & then explained my options carefully. i truly feel like Christina CARES about me, my son, my family, & the outcome of my case. I hired Christina Woods to handle my divorce mainly because she had multiple offices which was convenient since I live in a different town than I work in. I met with her the first time just for a consultation and hired her immediately. She has been amazing every step of the way - clearly explaining the process, updating me immediately of any changes, and her fees were better than any other quotes I had received. I already spoke with her about helping with another small legal filing issue following my divorce and have recommended her to any one I hear of looking for legal advice or counsel.

My case was thought to be an easy solution. However the defendant does not want to play by the rules. Christina has gone above and beyond to get the defendant to come to the table and sort things out, but she refuses to. Christina has made sure that when the defendant don't play nice that she is held acciuntable and held in contempt of court and she is sent to jail on large bonds.

I've been involved with Ms. Woods for legal representation on two separate occasions and both times she protected the interests of her client. Ms. Woods was hands down the best decision I made regarding my case. Anytime I needed something - she was always right there. Even after our case was settled, Ms. Woods continued to eagerly answer all of my questions and concerns. Conflicts resulting in legal representation can become financially troubling at times. Ms. Woods was always understanding of the financial strain. If ever placed in a legal situation again - Ms. Woods will be my first choice.

When I first walked in to Ms. Woods office I had just left a child support hearing that did not go very well for me, I was disheartened, afraid, upset and had very little hope for any help from anyone, and she was my last stop before heading back to Lubbock. I had completely given up on lawyers and judges and saw very little promise of ever there being an improvement in my circumstances. I had very little money and not a promise of making much more than I currently was, I was in the middle of unenforceable custody orders, and up to my eye balls in past due child support. One night after a particularly horrible session she stayed on the phone with me the whole time I drove from Levelland to Lubbock until I was calmed down and able to feel comfortable with moving forward in the process. I have never been made feel like a "lost cause" or "waste of time" and her staff has also treated me with respect and dignity just as she has from the moment I walked into her office. I am confident Ms. Woods has always acted in mine and my childs best interests and always advised me to conduct myself in a manner that would never be detrimental to my case. I can't say that about the other lawyers I've had in the past for this same situation. Ms. Woods finally HEARD what I was saying and cut through the attorney jargon to finally understand what I had been enduring for the last 8 years.
