I hired Ms. Woods to represent myself and my child in a complex family court matter after I went to a free consultation with her. Hired Ms. Woods for enforcement of child visitation. THERE IS NO FREE CONSULTATION AS ADVERTIZED IN GOOGLE SEARCHES. .Same day the other parent filed to Modify Child Custody. I made a down payment and started payments as contract stated. I made a file with ALL documents and gave this 2 them before 1s...t hearing. I never even knew about second hearing until a TEXT the day prior at 3pm FOR 9AM hearing.I was asked for documents that I had given in the file the first time I went there. Ms. Woods NEVER even met with me to discuss the 2nd hearing which ended poorly. I was notified the next day that I never hired/PAID her for the MODIFICATION.....only the ENFORCEMENT. REALLY......? When you hire an attorney......isn't that for the situation. I was NEVER even served for the Modification. The case would have ended differently had Ms. Woods conferred with me prior to the hearing. HOW CAN YOU GO BEFORE A JUDGE.... If you do not know the case. STARTING OVER WITH A NEW LAWYER....go somewhere else...don't waste you time... money... and most importantly YOUR LIFE.
