Jodi Lazar and her team were effective and well-organized in helping me modify my divorce decree in regards to my three young children. She took time to thoroughly understand my case, provide me with clear and accurate advice and then ensure that my children's needs were met at all times. My only r...egret was that I had not chosen Jodi to originally represent me as her expertise and tenacity were evident from the start. I'm ever thankful for her work and dedication to my children's case.

Hired Jodi and before we even began working on our case, I regretted the decision. It took a few days for her to even get the signed retainer agreement to us, and when we simply asked for a timeline of how long the process would take & when we would get started, she emailed us stating she was too bus...y and "checking in with her everyday isn't helpful". Jodi was incredibly rude to us throughout the entire process and WAY overcharged us- by over $500! When we received our final bill, I went over it with a fine tooth comb (and I recommend you do as well if you hire her) and found multiple charges for emails & calls on a certain date where we had never received anything. The concept of Lazar Law seems awesome, she has a great staff working for her & they seem like they are aggressive to win your case which is mainly the reason why we hired her, but they completely failed in every other aspect. She did get everything done that we wished, but if I could do it over again I would have NEVER picked Lazar Law.

When i finally got smart enough to get rid of her as my attorney, it took 3 months to get my final statement and nominal refund. She even hinted that she would charge me for calling once a week to find out the status on my final statement. My next attorney was great, although it took us a lot of work... to regain all the ground she had lost us on the case.
