Very thorough and hard working

Harry and Gary did an excellent job representing me in my workers comp lawsuit. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone. They reassured me every step of the way and made sure that I knew what was going on.

Substandard workers comp attorney

The only thing Mr. Rodriguez did for me was take a portion of my weekly checks. Apparently his legal assistant no longer worked at his firm that was handling my Worker’s Comp. case. Rather than Refamiliarize himself with my case due to the his legal assistant no longer being employed at his firm he d...ropped me as a client. He could have simply given my file to another of his legal assistants to look over. Although everyone knows that a lawyer concludes time is money and any ethical lawyer would have never stopped representing me. Again I feel that Mr. Rodriguez concluded it would take too much time to go over my file and made the decision to no longer represent me. It was not my fault that his legal assistant no longer worked at his law firm and I should not have been punished because of her no longer being employed. Furthermore I signed a contract with Mr. Rodriguez and he failed me as a lawyer. If I recall, the day that I signed the paperwork to retain him as a attorney he did not even introduce himself and I only spoke to the legal assistant at which point I signed the paperwork. Unfortunately the workers comp adjuster prematurely asked that I get a MMI rating. I was having severe problems due to a Traumatic brain injury sustained during my assault and was unable to advocate for myself. I was given a 15% MMI rating. My work comp adjuster did not like that I had a 15% rating and that they would have to continue giving me checks so they sent me to one of their unethical workers comp. DR’s that was in his mid to upper 70’s that told me just to deal with the pain and all my other problems because I was still a young man and my rating was conveniently dropped by 1%. This was very convenient for the insurance company. Why would they drop my MMI by 1% unless they did not want to be fair and actually treat their injured employees with dignity and respect? Number 2 all my work compensable injuries were not addressed. I knew I had a Trumatic brain injury and additional injuries that were not placed as work compensable injuries. I had asked for a appointment with Mr. Rodriguez while he was handling my case. He just smiled at me and assured me that everything would be taken care of and spoke to me for less than three minutes. Then he politely told me that the meeting was over. So if you want a attorney that has a very expensive RV in the back of his office building and conveniently will take a portion of your weekly checks go ahead and retain Mr. Rodriguez as a attorney. He probably got around $10,000 or more from my weekly checks and he could of at least gone in front of a appeals Judge one time and appealed my case. He at least owed me that much. He should have immediately appealed the new rating for me that the unethical DR gave me. Rather he let the insurance company do what they do by saving money. My injuries were so severe that when I did apply for Social Security disability I was approved within six or seven months. I assumed that the insurance company would take care of a injured correctional officer that worked for The State and I made the mistake of believing that the insurance company would take care of a employee that prevents evil people from escaping and the citizens of Texas sleep soundly at night because of people like me. He abandoned me and then instructed me I had less than 30 days to appeal my rating. I Guess he might of had a vacation planned. I was in my 20s and did not want to consider myself to be disabled. I thought that Mr. Rodriguez would advocate for me. I tried going back to school and had to drop all of my classes. Prior to my assault, I had a B average and had 36 hours college credit. I will just take this as a learning experience. I will not allow people like Mr. Rodrigues that failed me to make me bitter. My treating doctor was approved to give MMI ratings. He was only sent 1 patient for a MMI rating. Bc he gave the person a reasonable rating they blacklisted him and he has yet to get a 2nd patient.
