I typically don’t do online reviews. However, I could not pass up an opportunity to tell everyone how great Deke Foxhoven (DEKE FOXHOVEN LAW FIRM) has been while handling my case. I had been fighting for 15 years to find someone to help me. I have a son with special needs, and a father who gave ...him no support. Being turn down from numerous support groups for help with my son’s medical needs, it was about time I hired an attorney to make my ex-husband keep up with his responsibility. I walked into Deke’s office being afraid of another let down and losing faith in hiring another attorney, after numerous failed attempts by other attorneys in the Austin area. To be honest I had doubts in him too. I thought to myself, another attorney, another promise, another let down. Well guess what? I was defiantly wrong about Deke. The day I meet Deke, I was thinking to myself - I’m wasting my time again. I explained to him everything that happened in the 15 years I tried to take care of my son. All the previous attorneys took my money and did nothing to protect my son. The support system did not help. My ex-husband was not keeping up with his responsibility. I actually felted like Deke was not brushing me off or not listening to my concerns. There was never a time I felt pressured into anything, or felt he was not communicating with me. Deke explained everything to me. He was very clear about what to expect, and made no promises. Deke answered all the questions I had on this very complex case. He gave me hope that I had finally found someone who would fight for my son. After everything I told him, Deke started my case. I received a call from Deke that following Friday to tell me he had already set up everything. He took time to explain to me step by step how it was going to be handled. This was more than what the others attorneys ever did. I appreciated his direct approach in telling me exactly what I needed to have. I respect his honesty, which is hard to find in this day and time. Deke kept me well informed, updating me on every issue. Every time I received a call from his office, it was always him and not a third party. My situation changed several times during my case, due to my son’s disability and the instability of my ex-husband. We hit some extremely difficult situations and he helped me turn my case into something I never imaging it could be. There were a lot of emotional times but Deke always gave me the support I needed and he encouraged me to stay focused on what really mattered. Deke was able to negotiate with my ex’s attorney which helped lower my cost by staying out of the court room. He worked with me regarding payments and fully understood my situation due to my having to financially support my son alone. Deke always made me feel like my issues were a priority, and that my son’s needs came first, which every other attorney I had hired failed to do. Today I am a very happy Mom! I feel justice has been served! If I could describe Deke Foxhoven in a smaller review, he is an excellent attorney, very reliable, honest, courteous, affordable, respectful and down to earth. I can not express enough gratitude or appreciation for all this man has done for my family. He was not just my attorney; he turned out to be a friend. I highly recommend Deke Foxhoven.

After getting divorced I continued to have custody problems with my ex. He has been absolutley wonderful in helping me finally take care of this problem that has been going on for 4 years.
