I typically don’t do online reviews. However, I could not pass up an opportunity to tell everyone how great Deke Foxhoven (DEKE FOXHOVEN LAW FIRM) has been while handling my case. I had been fighting for 15 years to find someone to help me. I have a son with special needs, and a father who gave ...him no support. Being turn down from numerous support groups for help with my son’s medical needs, it was about time I hired an attorney to make my ex-husband keep up with his responsibility. I walked into Deke’s office being afraid of another let down and losing faith in hiring another attorney, after numerous failed attempts by other attorneys in the Austin area. To be honest I had doubts in him too. I thought to myself, another attorney, another promise, another let down. Well guess what? I was defiantly wrong about Deke. The day I meet Deke, I was thinking to myself - I’m wasting my time again. I explained to him everything that happened in the 15 years I tried to take care of my son. All the previous attorneys took my money and did nothing to protect my son. The support system did not help. My ex-husband was not keeping up with his responsibility. I actually felted like Deke was not brushing me off or not listening to my concerns. There was never a time I felt pressured into anything, or felt he was not communicating with me. Deke explained everything to me. He was very clear about what to expect, and made no promises. Deke answered all the questions I had on this very complex case. He gave me hope that I had finally found someone who would fight for my son. After everything I told him, Deke started my case. I received a call from Deke that following Friday to tell me he had already set up everything. He took time to explain to me step by step how it was going to be handled. This was more than what the others attorneys ever did. I appreciated his direct approach in telling me exactly what I needed to have. I respect his honesty, which is hard to find in this day and time. Deke kept me well informed, updating me on every issue. Every time I received a call from his office, it was always him and not a third party. My situation changed several times during my case, due to my son’s disability and the instability of my ex-husband. We hit some extremely difficult situations and he helped me turn my case into something I never imaging it could be. There were a lot of emotional times but Deke always gave me the support I needed and he encouraged me to stay focused on what really mattered. Deke was able to negotiate with my ex’s attorney which helped lower my cost by staying out of the court room. He worked with me regarding payments and fully understood my situation due to my having to financially support my son alone. Deke always made me feel like my issues were a priority, and that my son’s needs came first, which every other attorney I had hired failed to do. Today I am a very happy Mom! I feel justice has been served! If I could describe Deke Foxhoven in a smaller review, he is an excellent attorney, very reliable, honest, courteous, affordable, respectful and down to earth. I can not express enough gratitude or appreciation for all this man has done for my family. He was not just my attorney; he turned out to be a friend. I highly recommend Deke Foxhoven.

Deke is great. I'm an artist and seeking business legal council was definitely out of my comfort zone. I hired Deke by recommendation of another small business owner to address a breach of contract. He took care to thoroughly explain processes and options. He is professional, knowledgeable and person...able. He was easy to talk to, always responded in a timely manner and negotiated with success! Prior to moving to Austin I needed to form an L.L.C. for my new business venture. Since I was not living in Texas at the time this was pro...ving to be extremely challenging. As everybody does, I did a quick Google search for business formation attorneys in Austin, Texas. After calling a few of those attorneys and not really making any progress (because I did not get to speak with any of them, only their secretaries and I still have not heard from any of them) I came across Foxhoven Law Firm. I called Mr. Foxhoven’s office and was immediately surprised and impressed. The surprise came because Deke actually answered the phone and spoke with me for about ten minutes and his general business law advice was quite impressive. Deke scheduled for us to have a 30 minute phone consult the next day. After talking with Deke for well over the 30 minutes he had scheduled, I knew he was the right attorney for me. Not only was his business law advice impressive, but not one time did he make me feel rushed in our conversation. The information that he needed from me in order for him to do his job only took about 20 minutes for him to get, we then spent the next 20-30 minutes just, well, talking. Deke was giving me advice on being new to the Austin area and really tried to help my family and I with our move to Austin as much as possible. Deke gave me contact information for a real estate agent, a CPA, a health insurance agent, and the list goes on and on. To say Deke is well-connected would most certainly be an understatement. At the end of our conversation Deke told me to contact him with any questions concerning the business formation or just questions about Austin in general (he is probably regretting that last statement). I have called or emailed him a couple of times with question regarding the business formation, and countless times with questions about Austin. No matter what topic my question pertains to he is always very responsive and happy to help in any way he can. Deke is so helpful he actually had his wife get in contact with mine so they could discuss schools, doctors, kid activities, etc. in the Austin area. I would without any hesitation recommend Foxhoven Law Firm for any legal needs. If Deke cannot help you he will most certainly be able to put you in contact with someone that can. Everyone he has referred us to has been exactly like Deke; personable, professional, knowledgeable, and they truly care about their client.

Deke was very attentive and forthright in our initial consultation. I never felt like I was too small of a customer even though I came to him with a newly opened business.
