The best lawyer by far

First, if you choose to employ a different attorney, you are making a huge mistake. Neil is not the cheapest attorney available but I’ll tell you that he is worth every single cent, and then some! He listened to what we wanted, shared his past experiences and made informed suggestions. Someone stated... that Neil has a vast knowledge of human behavior and I’m here to tell you that it couldn’t be more true. I’m quite a particular person, especially when it came to spending this kind of money and for what was at stake. As a friend once told me, you are trusting your family law attorney with your life. It’s true. I’ll tell you that I doubt I could have trusted another attorney to look out for our interests like I trust Neil. Neil also never made irresponsible decisions that cost us more money. I never felt, not even once, like he was carelessly running up our bill. In fact, it was noticed, respected and appreciated that he always carefully thought out his steps before taking them, which helped save us a lot of money, as well as wasted efforts, energy and additional suffering. There is no replacing his experience and knowledge. He’s an excellent strategist and he helped us with a really difficult ex who has sought to make life hard on all since the divorce. We were amending child custody and other legalese post decree. He’s aggressive when you need him to be but in just the right way. Neil will fight so hard for you and he’ll be smart about it. He won’t kid you. He’ll always tell you the truth, even if it’s hard to hear. I respect that a lot about him. We would never use a different family lawyer other than Neil. Thanks for everything.

Fantastic lawyer!

When my ex-wife filed for divorce, I started my journey by interviewing various highly recommended lawyers around town. I'm a father of two small children and having equal custody was extremely important to me, so I wanted someone with a long history of experience and professionalism. When I called N...eil, his paralegal Betsy (who was also great to work with) answered and got me over to Neil right away. He looked over the filed paperwork and gave me his opinions on the case, things I need to prepare for, costs, etc. He was nothing but transparent and honest about my situation. None of the prior lawyers I talked to had given me this much professional attention and insight. Throughout the process, Neil coached me through the difficult parts and ensured that the goals that we set out to achieve were always at the forefront of our case. Even when it felt like I was beginning to crack, he coached me up and let me know how important our end goals were for me and my kids. Words cant express how important that was and how eternally grateful I am for it. When Neil gives you advice and direction, even if it sounds out of the normal, DO IT and stick by your guns. You'll be thankful you did. The outcome of my case was far better than I could have hoped. We got exactly what we set out for and then some. My co-parenting situation also didn't take a hit. I owe that to Neil being professional, good natured and tough but fair in the litigation process. My kids ended up being the biggest winners here and I have Neil and Betsy to thank for it.

Effective and Immensely Knowledgeable

Neil Beyer is the most competent lawyer I have met. Beyond his understanding of the law he has vast understanding of how to predict and understand human behavior in stressful situations. After two attorneys failed to properly argue my divorce I hired Neil to help clean up the mess and get me a decree.... Within weeks all outstanding issues such as possession orders and division of assets were resolved and I had a decree that was extremely fair and allowed me to maintain a relationship with my ex wife. Throughout the process he kept me informed and gave me very salient advice on how to mentally and emotionally approach this most difficult and stressful period of my life. Highest recommendation.

Highly Recommend Neil

Neil is a very knowledgeable, experienced lawyer. I felt like he actually listened and understood what I was facing in my specific divorce and custody situation and he tailored his strategies accordingly. He advocated zealously on my behalf had good ideas and advice which I believe made a huge diff...erence in the outcome of my case. Neil was able to share examples of how things played out in other cases (in and out of court) which I felt were helpful. My divorce was the most stressful and emotionally difficult challenge I have faced in my life and Neil responded with empathy and support to help me get through it with dignity and helped me achieve a result that offers hope for a better future for myself and my children. I would recommend Neil to anyone without reservation.

Got what I paid for, not empty promises!

As an active duty military dad, it was absolutely nerve wrecking seeking out the right attorney to entrust with the custody case for my son. I was not confident of what Mr. Beyer was capable of at first but at the end, it all came together. Finding the funds was tough but Mr. Beyer was always willing... to offer a way around charging me for something. He was honest about EVERYTHING whether it was what I wanted to hear or not. If you serve this greatful nation and need family law help, look no further! Thanks for bringing my little man home Neil!

"I have known Neil since the late 90's when we were both associates at a large law firm. Later we met again after we had both hung out our own shingles and by chance had office space across the hall from each other. So I have gotten to know Neil pretty well and have valued his insight on the workings of the court. He is my first choice when referring clients to a family law lawyer. He is a zealous advocate and does family law because he likes it and is good at it, and sees it as a valuable and necessary service. He has done other kinds of law in the past and would be successful doing other kinds of law, but this is his calling. He really believes in helping people through this difficult process and has the unique skill set for it. And he's a straight shooter. Tells it like it is."
