Biography
I’m Matt Rossetti, the founder of Sentient Law, Ltd. My background combines over a decade of experience in technology and software development with my work as a business attorney. I spent over a decade collaborating with a diverse range of companies, entrepreneurs, and inventors across various industries, including blockchain, brick-and-mortar businesses, construction, cryptocurrencies, ecommerce, healthcare, and virtual reality. I particularly enjoyed partnering with companies through all stages of their journey, from the idea phase to fundraising and eventual exit. Additionally, I still occasinally with professional boxers and motorsports competitors.
I was a founding member of the Forbes Legal Council and previously served as General Counsel to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. I also volunteered with the Chicago Chapter of the same organization. In the academic realm, I was an adjunct professor at IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law, where I taught a course titled "Emerging Technologies." Currently, I serve as the Chief Legal Officer for a rapidly growing private venture and am a limited partner at Veridical Ventures. While I am not working full time as an attorney, I am availble to consult on a limited basis if a client or matter strikes a chord with me.
