If you're reading this review you probably made a mistake. I did too. You probably feel a whirlwind of emotions: lost, scared, helpless, angry, etc. I did too. You probably want this incident to disappear as fast as possible. I did too.
"Under promise and over perform" is the quote I would use to describe Bill Mange. A very rare quality found in people. There's a sense of comfort you get working with Bill Mange that I rarely feel when dealing with people of any profession.
Bill Mange is genuinely interested in helping you get back on your way as harmlessly as possible. He is one of the most organized, effective, detail oriented people I had the pleasure of working with.
If you want to continue on your life as easily as possible without the stress of worrying about your case: Hire Bill Mange.

Mr. Mange did an excellent job with my case. From the first court date, he meticulously combed through all the evidence and focused on the necessary details to support a positive outcome. Mr. Mange never made any promises he couldn't keep. He works on a basis of fact, and information. He will answer all your questions and you will always be filled in on information regarding your case. He is extremely detail oriented and thorough. He is really on your side!

This will sound cliche, but after I got charged with a DWI I thought my future career prospects were over. I am currently back in school, switching careers, and trying to get into an industry where a criminal record would seriously hinder my chances at getting a job. I had finally found something I would love doing and one bad decision possibly ruined everything. I thought it was over.
Discouraged, I managed to find Attorney Mange using Avvo and saw his perfect score and read some of his reviews. I gave him a call and set up an appointment for a free consultation. He happily walked me through the process of my charges and what my options were. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, but what sold me on him was he told me he loves his job. I hired him shortly after that.
Attorney Manage communicates like a lawyer in the best way one can: He is direct, clear, and chooses his words wisely. He always carefully explains possible courses of action and then suggests which choice would be best for my situation, but is never pushy since it is ultimately my decision. He never over promised or suggested anything that would be unlikely to happen. After any explanation he would ask if I had any questions and would answer them promptly. All this done with a warm, friendly demeanor, which is helpful since talking with an attorney is usually during serious circumstances.
Immediately, Attorney Mange's legal knowledge became apparent when he explained that it was possible for my charge to be downgraded using a newer legal mechanism introduced in my county, typically used for people in my position: I was barely over the limit and had a clean past record, excluding a couple speeding tickets. This gave me some hope since it would not be a DWI on my record, but something like an unlawful obstruction of a pathway. I would have still had a criminal record, but explaining "Obstruction" to a possible future employer would be much easier than explaining a DWI.
After months of waiting and a few court appearances, something even better happened: My case got dismissed. I am ecstatic and feel like I have second chance. Attorney Mange did his part and did it flawlessly, by giving me the best possible outcome for my situation. I cannot thank Attorney Manage enough and would suggest him to anyone that needs an attorney. I will certainly hire him again to get my arrest record expunged when that time is ready.

If you are looking for a defense attorney with a high level of integrity, who treats you with dignity and respect, who knows the law and who is well established and respected in the Austin legal community, then I highly recommend Bill Mange. After interviewing attorneys, it was clear to me and my family that Mr. Mange was the right attorney to hire for my DWI case.
He personally met with me as his client, personally managed my case and was very responsive to my questions and concerns. Bill was thorough in his review of my case (very detail oriented) and worked hard to ensure a very favorable outcome. He was successful in having my DWI charges dismissed.
Bill is an excellent defense attorney, a polished and respected professional and I am very grateful to have had him represent me.

If there is one part of my experience with the legal system that could be described as enjoyable, it would absolutely be my interactions and and relationship with Bill. From the day I walked into his office with the evidence for my defense, Bill was calm, patient, candid, and real.
After a scheduling error by my previous attorney resulted in a missed court date and a warrant for my arrest, I knew I had to find new representation. I walked into Bill's office on a Tuesday, by Thursday Bill informed me that my warrant was cleared, and by Friday I was worry-free in the middle of a Caribbean cruise that I had previously booked.
Bill and his office strongly communicated all important dates and information to me regarding my case (which obviously was very important and reassuring to me). He was very clear and transparent in his profesional advice, and make sure I understood the potential risks and rewards of the decisions I was faced with along the way. With Bill's guidance, experience, and knowledge of the Travis County Court system, my case was ultimately fully dismissed prior to trial. From the beginning, Bill was clear in his stance that he felt I had a strong case for myself, and this provided great reassurance in my legal journey from start to finish.
After seeing his intelligence, composure, experience, and integrity in handling my case, I would absolutely recommend Bill without hesitation to my closest loved ones or anyone in need of criminal defense in the Travis County area.

Bill Mange is an excellent lawyer and I highly recommend him if you need a defense lawyer. I had to actually hire him twice for two different charges. Both times, he was understanding and he is just a good person overall to with. He is a good man. I was very happy with the results of both cases. I hope I never have have his services again, but if I do, I know Bill will take care of things.

I would rank Bill as a Super Lawyer in the field of Criminal Law in the greater Austin area. Furthermore, he is a man of his word and complete integrity, as well as being very kind, personable and understanding.
Bill helped me regain my life and overcome considerable stress by facilitating the Dismissal of a first time criminal offense (by getting me into the Pre-trial Diversion Program) that could have derailed my Professional career. Because he was formerly a respected and successful County Prosecutor, he knew the system and the right people to get this done, and did it without "breaking the bank" like many other lawyers would have done. So, I would and will highly recommend Bill to anyone who is dealing with criminal matters in the Central Texas area. You won't be sorry!

I hired Mr. Mange to assist with my first DWI. During my initial consult, he explained in great detail how the evidence would be interpreted against me and what my options were for the case going forward. He responses to email were very thorough and timely and I always felt as though he knew what he was doing and would take care of business for me in the best way he could given the circumstances. Ultimately, he had my charge reduced to Obstruction (typical for DWI cases) and placed on probation for 15 months with just 80 hours of community service. A good outcome for this situation honestly. Going to trial is always an option and may work in your favor if the evidence is weak, however; it will cost you a lot of time and money and if you fail, you will have the DWI on your record. It took me awhile to understand this as I was of the opinion my case would be dropped altogether if a trial was pursued but in most any situation, unless you have ALOT of money a plea deal of this sort is going to be your best option and Mr. Mange can certainly get it done. For a nominal fee, he also helped me secure an early release from probation (I served 8 of the 15 months ordered) once all of my requirements were met and considering I was in good standing with my PO reporting. If you find yourself in a DWI situation, Mr. Mange is a solid choice based on my experience. He knows the law as well as having contacts in the court and can get your the best outcome possible for the fee he charges.
