First offense DWI. Best possible outcome. Take that five star rating and triple it.

I hired Mr. Mange for a DWI I had received. The situation I found myself in was stressful, but Mr. Mange was 100% with me EVERY step of the way for 14 months, answering any questions I had honestly and treated me with kindness. His knowledge and calm demeanor put me at ease. He truly cares about his ...clients and it shows. When sentencing day came, I realized very quickly that this man is a BLESSING. It would NOT have been possible for the outcome to be any better than what it was. I have not been in trouble at all since. I recommend Mr. Mange to anyone who has received a DWI. I will always be grateful for his existence.

By Far Best DWI Attorney in Austin - Honest and Very Trustworthy. He's in an Elite Category

If anyone comes across this review be glad you did. I was arrested for a DWI 9 months ago and as anyone would be I was scared to death, especially with it being my 2nd one. My family and myself did extensive research to find the best possible representation that we could. I work at a high profile ...tech company and was very concerned on how this would affect my position. We still say it was a genuine blessing that we came across the reviews on Mr. Mange. After meeting with numerous attorneys throughout all of Austin we came in to meet with Bill. From the first meeting with him he makes you genuinely feel at ease, he is very honest and just a genuinely nice man. The free consultation was so in depth we were blown away. We left there with no doubts he was the best person to represent me in my case. I was definitely prepared for the worse in regards to my case. Bill and his secretary Alicia kept me up to date every step of the way and always answered any question I had. There was even a very small scheduling glitch at my hearing to see if my driver's license was going to get suspended (I already knew it was). Bill actually paid for my Occupational License for the few months I had to have it, who does that? Long story short I got a call from Bill himself saying he had gotten the entire charge of my DWI completely dismissed. Me and my family are eternally grateful to his relentless work, complete honesty and meticulous approach in uncovering all areas of my case. Don't overthink it, if you make a mistake and are in a situation like I was do yourself a favor and hire Mr. Mange!! Thanks Bill for getting my charge completely dismissed.

Great Trial DWI lawyer

After getting a DWI during a holiday non-refusal weekend where the results didn't add up I was hopeful for an easy resolution but was prepared to go through trial. After some initial research I met with Bill and felt confident he was behind me. Bill put together one of the smartest and most in dept...h defenses I think the courtroom had ever seen on a BAC DWI case. It took an incredible amount of work to make a diverse and not our preferred jury get a complete understanding of the big picture as well as the very minute details. Which eventually led to a Not Guilty. In addition to the good "lawyering" Bill did a great job of staying in contact, working with me and managing my expectations over the 2+year process. Highly recommend him if you need someone to go above and beyond.

DWI Dismissed - Obstruction of Passageway with Deferred Adjudication

Mr. Mange was the best attorney I could have hoped for. He was available anytime I needed him from the time I first entered his office until he got my DWI dismissed. He responded to my emails promptly and was very straightforward and honest about the questions I had. Most importantly, he has a gr...eat reputation and relationship with the prosecutors and judges in Travis County. I blew a .12 after making an illegal left turn, but prosecutor offered a plea deal, without even watching the police video or reviewing my file, on Mr. Mange's word that the video of my field test would give her problems. If that doesn't show that he is a competent and reputable attorney, I don't know what will. Mr. Mange was very upfront about the cost and worked with me to establish a payment plan that worked for me. All in all, I highly recommend going to Mr. Mange for help with your DWI case. He loves what he does and explains your legal issues to you in a way that you understand so you can make informed decisions about how to move forward with your case. As a side note, if you are considering using a court-appointed attorney, don't. The several times I was in the courtroom, I saw firsthand the number of cases that these attorneys are dealing with, and they simply don't have the time to care about your case. The prosecutors know that they don't have any skin in the game, so if you want the DWI off of your record, you need to bite the bullet and hire a private attorney. Mr. Mange's costs are extremely fair, and he will take the time to learn your case and do everything he can to get you the best outcome possible.

DWI Dismissed

Mr. Mange is an amazing attorney. After a DWI charge earlier this year, panicked I frantically searched and compared attorneys until I found Bill. He was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. He is extremely knowledgable and very upfront. I think I most appreciated his reluctance... to speculate regarding outcomes or scenarios; he sticks to the facts and could easily answer any questions I had regarding my case. He consistently updated me of any updates or changes in my case, and was always quick to answer phone calls and emails. Within 8 months Bill had found the means to have my case dismissed. I cannot recommend him enough and hope that everyone whom makes a mistake is luck enough to have an attorney like him fight on their side.

"Bill Mange is one of the best defense lawyers in Travis County. Sometimes lawyers need to bounce ideas off of each other to craft the best tactics and strategy in defending a criminal case, and I have often tapped Bill as a useful resource in that regard. Also, he’s on a very short list of attorneys I would hire if I were charged with a crime in or around Austin, Texas. I think those might actually be the two best things I could say about any lawyer."
