Great DWI Lawyer for the Price

I hired Mr. Mange to assist with my first DWI. During my initial consult, he explained in great detail how the evidence would be interpreted against me and what my options were for the case going forward. He responses to email were very thorough and timely and I always felt as though he knew what h...e was doing and would take care of business for me in the best way he could given the circumstances. Ultimately, he had my charge reduced to Obstruction (typical for DWI cases) and placed on probation for 15 months with just 80 hours of community service. A good outcome for this situation honestly. Going to trial is always an option and may work in your favor if the evidence is weak, however; it will cost you a lot of time and money and if you fail, you will have the DWI on your record. It took me awhile to understand this as I was of the opinion my case would be dropped altogether if a trial was pursued but in most any situation, unless you have ALOT of money a plea deal of this sort is going to be your best option and Mr. Mange can certainly get it done. For a nominal fee, he also helped me secure an early release from probation (I served 8 of the 15 months ordered) once all of my requirements were met and considering I was in good standing with my PO reporting. If you find yourself in a DWI situation, Mr. Mange is a solid choice based on my experience. He knows the law as well as having contacts in the court and can get your the best outcome possible for the fee he charges.

Make the Best of a Bad Situation

I hired Mr. Mange to handle my first (and last!) DWI case. I was pulled over for a traffic violation and blew over the legal limit at the police station. I also admitted to having had a few drinks to the officer. I contacted Mr. Mange for a free consultation the day after my release from jail, havin...g read many positive reviews about him online. On meeting him, I was immediately struck by his quiet professionalism and calm demeanor, coupled with a clear expertise in all aspects of DWI law, breathlizer technology, and possible outcomes for my specific case. Suffice it to say I felt comfortable with Mr. Mange almost immediately. In the next several months, I largely did not hear from Mr. Mange; most information came through e-mail informing me of where I needed to be and when. I think my only complaint with Mr. Mange is the lack of communication. I know he is busy rushing from courtroom to courtroom but I sometimes felt totally in the dark about what was being done. In the end, however, results speak louder than words. Mr. Mange managed to secure a dismissal of the DWI charge in exchange for deferred adjudication on an obstruction of passageway charge. It was the best possible result I could have hoped for in my situation (blew over limit, admitted to drinking, 50/50 video etc). He was kind and knowledgeable, and in the end, did exactly what he said he would - he got me a reduced charge, so no DWI will be on my record, and I can have this whole episode behind me in a couple of years. What more can I ask for? If you are like I was, frightened, overwhelmed, and directionless, contact Mr. Mange. He will take care of things, and ensure you get the best possible result in your specific case.

Solid attorney, good person

Leaving a review because this site helped me to find and hire Bill. After meeting with Bill and reading his blog thoroughly I found him to be honest, professional, ethical and well qualified. I had a lot to lose professionally and he helped craft a solution that met my needs for some pretty unusu...al and specific circumstances. He was up front about possible/probable outcomes, did not trip my BS detector as other attorneys had and took ample time to cover my case and answer my questions patiently. The only reason I am not rating him 5 stars is that he was not as thorough with one aspect of the case as I thought he should have been. It turned out to be irrelevant to the outcome. Case was refiled as a non-alcohol misdemeanor with satisfactory conditions attached. His rate was among the lowest of all the attorneys I met with, but I would have hired him at any reasonable price after meeting. I also saw Bill offer assistance to an elderly disabled man in a wheelchair upon arriving in the courtroom (before he saw me) after at least 10 attorneys and other court personnel walked right by him. Really struck a chord on the character scale. I would hire him again, and can recommend him 100%. He seemed to truly have my best interests in mind during the case and handled it in a professional and competent manner.

"Bill Mange is one of the best defense lawyers in Travis County. Sometimes lawyers need to bounce ideas off of each other to craft the best tactics and strategy in defending a criminal case, and I have often tapped Bill as a useful resource in that regard. Also, he’s on a very short list of attorneys I would hire if I were charged with a crime in or around Austin, Texas. I think those might actually be the two best things I could say about any lawyer."
