About Michele
Biography
Michele Locke is a former Associate Court Judge that has returned to private practice to continue pursuing her passion for family law litigation. As a Judge, Michele ran a Domestic Violence Court focusing on Protective Order Applications, divorce, custody, child support, enforcement and other family law matters. For a period of time, she also ran the Child Protective Services Court. She is knowledgeable in contested family law matters that involve issues of domestic violence, stalking, harassment, and child abuse. Her Court was a forerunner in addressing issues that related to Same-Sex relationships.
Prior to becoming a Judge, Michele ran a successful family law practice. She handled all ranges of cases and successfully represented clients in all types of highly contested matters.
Michele is very active in the legal community and makes a point to share the insights she gathered working as a family court judge by presenting at various speaking engagements and Continuing Legal Education events. Michele’s areas of practice include Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Family Violence, and other family law matters.
Michele’s passion since law school has been family law. As a child of divorce, step-mother of two girls, and a mother to three boys, Michele understands all too well the dynamics and complexities of divorce and the impact divorce has on the families undergoing these tumultuous times.
Michele understands how important each case is to every individual client. She prides herself on communicating clearly with her clients through every step of their case. She ensures they understand the strategy that will be employed and what options are available. Michele takes her role as a client advocate and litigator very seriously.

Michele helps me a lot for my painful case
Michele represented me for my divorce case - painful.. Interviewed a couple of other lawyers before, but at the first meeting gave me a confidence she takes care of my case well. Key is she listens me very well - it worked nicely for me and case closed.

Very helpful during difficult family situation
Ms. Locke helped us during a very confusing and stressful time. She met with us within a day of out initial phone call and helped us immediately by delaying a hearing. We then met periodically over a year and had a successful settlement of our custody fight.
