Daniel Betts does not care

When I walked in to meet Daniel Betts at our agreed apon date him and his partner Ben were laughing about my case. I overheard it and said nothing. Daniel opened with "I didn't plan to have a full meeting" despite having me inconvenience my day and drive down. Daniel never looked at my evidence b...efore my trial. Daniel never had a single meeting with me. Daniel told my trauma details to another lawyer without my consent and disappeared after telling me I'd receive a $500 refund. He did get my case dismissed. He does not care, but a lawyer doesn't need to. If you need your case dismissed and to feel like less than a human I recommend Betts. I'm sure other lawyers can get cases dismissed without dehumanizing people. I have nightmares of Daniel Betts helping hold me down while I'm raped, it was truly a terrible experience being his client.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I went to law school with Daniel and have stayed in touch with him since then. I have repeatedly referred very close friends of mine to him over the years, and have always heard back positively about his professionalism, efficiency, and responsiveness. I'd refer others to him in a heartbeat, and if I was in a criminal defense jam, he'd be the first person I would call."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
