DWI BAC 0.213 - Not Guilty!

In January 2018 Daniel and his partner Ben Blackburn tried to a Travis County jury a DWI BAC >=0.15 case where the defendant was involved in a car accident, failed the field sobriety tests, showing 6/6 ... , 7/8, and 3/4 clues of intoxication respectively on the tests, and whose blood was found to be a 0.213, over two and a half times the legal limit. Daniel attacked the credibility of the blood test showing inconsistencies with APD lab's internal standards for measuring their confidence in the result, the chain of custody of the blood, and with refrigeration logs of the evidence locker maintained by APD. Despite the evidence against his client, after 2 hours all 6 jurors came back with the same verdict:
