Employment and Labor 55%

Having worked decades in workplace disputes, including in-house counsel for a major US corporation, I have handled the full range of labor & employment law. And unlike many attorneys, I actually have substantial experience in traditional "labor" besides employment law. I am also board certified in labor & employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization

Litigation 20%

I have handled litigation matters from drafting or answering complaints, to trial, to appeals. I have experience in federal and state courts. Some attorneys are afraid to actually go to trial or face a jury. I enjoy a good, contested trial and have no problem taking a case to the mat if circumstances so warrant.

Administrative Law 10%

Administrative or agency law can be a complex and frustrating area if you don't know what you're doing. I have considerable experience in many local, state and federal agencies. If you're facing a charge, complaint or alleged violation from an agency, contact me for help.

Arbitration 10%

I have handled hundreds of arbitrations dealing with commercial, labor, and securities disputes. More and more cases are being resolved through arbitration rather than in the courtroom. You need an attorney who knows arbitration inside and out. Contact me for help if you're facing an arbitration, need to decide whether to pursue arbitration, or need to design an arbitration/ADR program for your business.

An attorney who lives by his commitment to his clients

Chris is an attorney whom you can deeply trust. He is the man of his words. He would ALWAYS give you his BEST. You don't even to need to ask him. I was overseas when I retained Chris without even meeting him. And when I met him the very first time in person, he was coming out of the Courthouse hol...ding a WINNING Judgment for me in his hand!!! I was very fortunate to have him as my attorney Chris knows the Arbitration law inside out. It is not ONLY the tremendous knowledge he possesses, BUT it is the sense of commitment that he gives to his clients and would hold their hands during their most difficult times.

Mr. Bourgeacq kindly provided me with a consultation. He was honest and compassionate about my situation. He spent as much time as needed to provide me with valuable insight and advice. He even accommodated my schedule to talk to me in the evening. He also promptly answered my follow up questions. Mr.... Bourgeacq is an efficient, effective, and knowledgeable attorney with high integrity. I highly recommend him to my family and friends.

BRILLIANT ATTORNEY! HIS EXPERIENCE AND SUCCESS RATE ARE UNPARALLELED

If you are reading this review, look no further. You have truly found the best attorney you will ever meet. I have had the distinct privilege of working directly with Chris for many years in a corporate environment. He epitomizes everything you want in an attorney. He is experienced, competent an...d most importantly, effective. Chris has extensive working knowledge of employment and Labor laws, and regularly handled complex issues in both areas. He also regularly handled charges and filings with the NLRB and EEOC. Chris acted as primary inside counsel for all matters pertaining to Labor Relations (Company & Union), including bargaining, contract interpretation, policy development and administration, formal grievances, negotiating settlements and arbitration hearings. He is extremely effective in arbitration hearings (and occasionally entertaining) with a proven success rate. In addition to conducting research, preparing witnesses for testimony and providing counsel during arbitrations, Chris also prepared and presented formal post hearing summary briefs to AAA, while keeping all parties engaged and informed throughout the process. His experience includes a broad spectrum of legal matters pertaining to terminations cases, disability claims, FMLA, contract violations, etc. He is extremely organized, does his homework and is always well prepared. Chris is honest, trustworthy and instantly likable. I fully intend to retain his services on any future legal matters that may arise and highly recommend him to everyone.

Excellent Attorney

I am currently the Vice President of Human Resouces for an oil company in Austin, Texas. In my nearly 30 years in the human resources field I have never worked with a more capable attorney. I worked with Chris for several years with AT&T and was never once disappointed with his advice and counsel. I ...sat through numerous arbitrations with Chris as our representative and we never lost one single case. He deserves the highest rating available.

Best Labor/Employment Attorney I've ever worked with!

I have worked with Chris on many cases. I have always found him to be very thorough and always striving to consider all aspects of the case. He's an Ace in the courtroom, but always fair. While his focused may have been to defend the company, he is also considering what is the right thing to do fo...r all involved. Wish we had him on our team at my current company for sure!
