Outstanding Legal Represenation

Mr. Simmons is not only knowledgeable, he is passionate about his work. Our initial consultation by phone was very informative. From there he managed my case from answer to dismissal. I never had to set foot in a courtroom. His fee is beyond reasonable for what is superb legal representation. I...f you are in the unfortunate position of needing legal representation, stop surfing reviews and hire Mr. Simmons.

I received excellent representation from Anderson Simmons

I am very glad I chose Anderson Simmons to represent me when I was sued by a debt-collection company. His $1,500 fee was a bit higher than another firm that I was looking at, but I believe that in the end I saved money by choosing him, because he was determined to WIN my case, not just settle it (whi...ch would have left me with payments to make to the plaintiff). Anderson Simmons talked with me at length about the pros and cons of my particular case before I chose him to represent me. He took the time to explain things fully and answer all questions. Mr. Simmons personally handled my case, and he displayed a strong working familiarity of how different county courts and debt collection companies behave in these kinds of cases. As he had defended other cases in front of my case's particular judge, he was able to use that knowledge to predict a likely outcome if things ended up in court. Mr. Simmons was able to get my case dismissed before it ever even went to court. Throughout the entire experience of working with him he kept me informed and proactively looked after my interests. After winning the case, he also gave me tips on protecting my credit rating. I can't recommend Anderson Simmons strongly enough. He knows the law, the various courts and judges in the greater Austin area (my case was in Williamson County), and he is honest and dedicated.

Lawyer you can count on!

Mr. Simmons got my credit card debt case dismissed. He told me what to expect. He explained the best and the worst outcome. I had no additional harassing phone calls regarding my debt after Mr Simmons took over my case. I waited patiently to hear from him. It is primarily a waiting game. Difficult... for him to inform me of what the other side is deciding. They file, he responds, then they respond etc. My case was dismissed after (5) months. No additional out of pocket expense to the court. Mr Simmons handled my case in a proficient fashion. One that I honestly was not expecting. I would highly recommend Mr Simmons. His time, his efforts, and his services are more than worth it. Thank you, Andy!!

Personable, Professional, Proficient

I was being sued, time was running out, I was upset, confused, lost. I called 4 other law firms I found on Google. One had a person making appts only despite my short time and request to speak to an attorney now. Two had message machines and I wasn't sure they were even local despite the ad, the 3rd... was actually a referral and all he did was put me down by saying he had to charge me more to "unf**k" what I had already done. All ego and bully. Andy answered the phone himself, I was on the verge of crying and in true AA meeting style I said "Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm being sued." Andy lightheartedly said "That can't feel good". He had me at Hello. Touchy feelies aside, he is reassuring, knowledgable, efficient and isn't out to milk your penny. Andy has INTEGRITY!, communicates the steps he takes and txt'd me we'd WON 20 mins after the deposition had started.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I would not hesitate to recommend anyone sued by a debt buyer to hire Mr. Simmons. I also represent consumers and had the good fortune to be in court recently where Mr. Simmons was arguing on his client's behalf against a debt buyer. He was articulate and had strong arguments and in the end, after well-argued points on both sides, Mr. Simmons got the case against his client completely dismissed. While some attorneys encourage settlement or charge fees through the roof, I believe Mr. Simmons is a fair and strong advocate for consumers."
