Mr. Simmons is not only knowledgeable, he is passionate about his work. Our initial consultation by phone was very informative. From there he managed my case from answer to dismissal. I am very glad I chose Anderson Simmons to represent me when I was sued by a debt-collection company. His $1,500 fee was a bit higher than another firm that I was looking at, but I believe that in the end I saved money by choosing him, because he was determined to WIN my case, not just settle it (whi...ch would have left me with payments to make to the plaintiff). Anderson Simmons talked with me at length about the pros and cons of my particular case before I chose him to represent me. He took the time to explain things fully and answer all questions. Mr. Simmons personally handled my case, and he displayed a strong working familiarity of how different county courts and debt collection companies behave in these kinds of cases. As he had defended other cases in front of my case's particular judge, he was able to use that knowledge to predict a likely outcome if things ended up in court. Mr. Simmons was able to get my case dismissed before it ever even went to court. Throughout the entire experience of working with him he kept me informed and proactively looked after my interests. After winning the case, he also gave me tips on protecting my credit rating. I can't recommend Anderson Simmons strongly enough. He knows the law, the various courts and judges in the greater Austin area (my case was in Williamson County), and he is honest and dedicated.

Plain and simple, as my title says, Anderson Simmons is the best there is at defending against junk debt buyers. I hired him on three separate occasions after being served with lawsuits from them. He forced two into dropping their suits early- one actually folded upon receiving word that Andy w...as representing me. The third he fought tooth and nail all the way to trial and trapped the opposing attorney into making a complete fool of himself to the court. He was unrelenting and was even awarded sanctions for exposing their misconduct with discovery rules and procedures. Needless to say we won but he was not done yet. He subsequently filed a lawsuit on my behalf for FDCPA violations against the debt buying company that initially sued me and I was awarded more than what I had originally stated that I would settle for.
