I hired Lisa Richardson on 03/01/2017 to handle my divorce case. At the beginning I had a consultation with her. After I told her about my case she gave me her opinion clearly with all the details I needed to know. Lisa also pointed to other legal aspects in my case that benefit me a lot. She... also introduced me to her team who were courteous and knowledgeable. Lisa and her team worked with me as if my case was their case. They always answered my questions, followed the case procedures in a timely manner promptly. The judgement came out exactly on time as Lisa told me. Lisa and her team did a wonderful job on my case. Being the "dad" in my custody battle I felt I had an uphill battle. First let me be clear: I wrote a heartfelt review for Lisa when I was sent the email request and then received a reminder two weeks later to write a review. After contacting AVVO only to find that my initial review was never received (even though I completed a captcha and clicked "submit") I am now ...doing my best to re-create that review...SO it should be clear that if I am taking the time and energy to compose this review again, it is because I firmly stand for that which I am putting forth with these words. Lisa Sanders Richardson KNOWS what she is doing, and has a well developed blend of practicing the law while still maintaining a personable understanding of her clients. My case was a modification for a custody agreement and her guidance during that turbulent time as well as her advice regarding what I could do to exercise my rights of visitation with my twins was spot on and wrought a favorable outcome once a new agreement was reached in mediation. All that was nice, but this was the part that was invaluable to me: I was the stay at home for my twins, and was re-entering the workforce while the situation arose that necessitated me to hire Lisa in order to avoid being alienated from my children. Lisa understood my situation and helped keep the costs down. Granted, this was not a pro-bono situation, and it required me to pay her and her team for their time and efforts, yet they knew my situation and helped me in terms of keeping billable hours within limits that I could afford. Look, I had researched her after being referred to her, and went in understanding that it is best to follow her advice. Once she heard what I was seeking, I followed her guidance in legal matters, and the opposition found it best to reach a new agreement through mediation. In the end, I got what I wanted; more time with my children without interference. In fact, I just had them for a full week during Spring break this year, and I know that was possible because of Lisa's talents and knowledge, for interpersonal awareness and the law, respectively. If you need legal counsel for family matters, I recommend hiring her. Without a doubt, I know my life is better for having done so.

If you can't resolve your marriage, the ladies at Lisa's office will be a great support to you, and give you strength you never knew you had.

Lisa was amazing through this entire process. I first consulted her a year before I filed just to understand what was needed. She gave me a lot of information about each step of a divorce. Lisa then advised me that I needed to be ready and sure as no divorce is easy. There is no judgement on her ...part just honest and sound advice. She asked great questions to understand what I wanted and her primary concern was the children and making sure they were taken care of by both of us. This is a hard process and she made it as easy as it can be. I never felt I was a bother. The entire staff was amazing. Every email and phone call was answered promptly and sometimes within minutes. The office is welcoming and comfortable. This billing was well documented and easy to track. Towards the end she kept on top of the other attorney and made sure this got closed out.
