Awesome!!!

I can not say enough good things about Jo! She is the most honest, caring and compassionate attorney I have ever met! She went above and beyond to help my son and helped keep my son from going to prison. She did an amazing job and always responded quickly to any text, e-mail or phone call. She made ...me feel like my son’s case was the most important case she had and always made sure we understood everything that was going on. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a criminal defense attorney.

Second Chances

My life as I knew it abruptly ended a year ago and I found myself in the Williamson County jail. Prior to this I hadn't had as much as a speeding ticket. My new reality was facing a potential 2-20 years in prison. To say the least I was terrified and overwhelmed. Enter Jo into my life. There are so ...many ways in which Jo helped me through this nightmare, but this being a review I'll be brief. Jo's years of experience practicing law was evident during our first meeting. Part of my experience being in jail was hearing countless other inmates express anger and frustration with their lawyers. I was in a terrible situation but I knew I had retained great representation. Jo responded to my questions and concerns whenever they came up and believe me they came up. Jo went to extra lengths to help ease the fears of my family. The legal process was a long one for me and my family. Jo's years of experience and commitment to her law practice saved me from going to prison. Having Jo Poenitzsch as my attorney made all the difference in the world.

Jo -Gets the Job Done

JP -Was readily accessible when our son who has autism was arrested for having a meltdown at a group home. This was a miscommunication with another resident who has his own set of challenges. The charge was a ridiculous Interfering with a 911 call. An unfortunate situation for young man with autism ...to be arrested in what was supposed to be a supportive environment. Jo got the charge dismissed without further incident. We never had to attend court and deal with that trauma. Jo was always responsive and reassuring to this nervous mother.

Jo Poenitzsch exceeded my expectations.

I recently received a traffic citation that required me to appear before a judge in Williamson County. Given my work schedule and limited availability, I hired Jo Poenitzsch to handle the matter. Jo patiently walked me through what I needed to do on my end, and then got the charge dismissed in a rema...rkably short period of time. Although many attorneys would consider my citation insignificant, Jo made it a priority and set my mind at ease. If Jo handled a relatively simple matter like mine so quickly and professionally, I can only imagine how well she would handle a more complicated case. Jo’s fees were extremely fair and equitable to the work being done. I will not hesitate to hire Jo again in the future if the need ever arises.

Stellar attorney even when court appointed

I was arrested for a charge I did not do. Within 2 hours of having a magistrate appoint an attorney, Jo was there to see me. At my first court hearing she had an offer that was amazing. However the complaining person on the charge created headaches before we could get back to court 3 days later. Jo w...orked with my family law attorney as well as the prosecutor and went above and beyond to get this case resolved how it should have been, dismissed. She also not one time entertained any idea of me taking a plea agreement to get out of jail sooner. As well she was ready to go to trial from the beginning which to me is not very common with a court appointed attorney. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.
