I was referred to this office by my employer's legal aid benefit. They were prompt, courteous and effective in helping me get resolution. I had overpaid a healthcare provider and was having a difficult time being refunded. Almost a year after trying to obtain a refund by myself, my friends and fam...ily urged me to reach out for legal assistance. I started by calling Law Point. It's a free legal resource offered by my employer. They first put me in touch with a different attorney but I was never contacted back despite leaving multiple messages. I contacted Law Point again. After apologizing they put me in touch with Mr. Whalen's office instead. I was able to reach someone right away. I explained what I was seeking (i.e., a demand letter) and why. They prompted me for additional information and once I provided it via email, I was quickly contacted to arrange a phone consultation with a lawyer. After a candid conversation about the situation and possible outcomes, the letter was sent on my behalf. Once the letter was received, Terri from Mr. Whalen's office went to bat for me. She pounced on every message received from the manager and kept me informed of every new development. Two weeks ago Terri told me a refund was issued and we rejoiced together on the phone! I received a check but more importantly respect, and resolution. I couldn't be happier, or more grateful!

I am writing this recommendation of Kelley Whalen because I have been so impressed by both the great legal advice he provides but also his patience with me . I am not very experienced with legal matters. I am really amazed at how every time we discuss my case, Mr. Whalen consistently takes a lo...t of time explaining things and making sure that I understand everything that is happening , the mechanics of how things are working in the case and generally just making me feel that he really is interested in not only doing a great job in legal representation ( he just told me we have won my case) but also interested in me understanding what is happening and why . I showed up to court with a lot of anxiety on the fate of my case. Mr. Whalen was very comforting and put my concerns at ease. He explained things to me in terms that I could understand. He was personable and I felt confident with him handling my case. I did not fell like I was just another case t...o him that could get lost in the shuffle.
