First, he and I met, on a chance encounter immediately following my divorce while researching military experienced attorney’s in the San Antonio area. His name came up on the top of my list so we spoke several times eventually meeting prior to my deployment overseas. We remained in contact with him... providing advice occasionally on the circumstances developing. My situation dissolved quickly while deployed developing in to a contentious relationship with my ex-spouse. Russell and his time team jumped in full force taking over everything. It is difficult to manage legal affairs when in the same state, almost impossible when adding a 6,000mile travel distance & 9 time-zones to area, often subject to disruption (Rockets, bombs, terrorist attacks, COVID lockdowns, power outages, and much, much more), the entire Amsberry team grew to be my family during difficult circumstances. While we did not accomplish all we wanted I continue build a relationship with son and family despite many setbacks. I am extremely blessed to know most of the Amsberry team and highly recommend him and firm as professionals in Military Family Law! I filed for divorce and had a previous attorney helping me but I needed someone who was going to listen to me and help me through this stressful process. If you care about your kids Russel is the lawyer you are looking for. Me and my daughter were having lots of problem such as abusing , not taking care of his kid well etc. with my ex husband. I hired 2 lawyers before Russell and spent thousands of dollars . What result did I get ? Nothing! When I met... Russell he got my trust right away and I decided to work with him.
