Diana Christine Davalos

I hired Diana to help me through a divorce. She seemed invested and understanding. However, after three and a half months and over $12,500, we were not even through the discovery process. Her firm does not communicate well. She took my money and did almost nothing for me. She did not seem to have an...y sense of how important it was for me to move through the process quickly.

I had a consultation with Diana. She seemed wonderful at first. I used several credit cards to pay her as a single mother fighting for the safety of my son. First, she submitted the wrong affidavit but it was fine. I remember her specifically telling me she doesn't do this for the money. She ended up... withdrawing from my case $28,000 into it because she was blindsided with information and instead of talking this out with me and trying to gain a strategy, she withdrew from the case right there in the court room. $28,000 - I saw her face maybe 4 times and went to court with her once where there was no hearing.

If I could 0 stars and still submit a review, I would. Attorney Diana Davalos is just in it for the money and doesn’t work for her clients as she promises. She seemed very competent & compassionate at the consultation and we felt comfortable paying her large retainer for what promised to be a difficu...lt divorce & custody case because she had us so convinced that she would work hard for positive outcomes. Well that didn’t last long and she dropped the ball on critical tasks, didn’t respond to communications, didn’t provide copies of arrangements she made with opposing counsel and left my niece and her children in a worse situation than when she was hired. We quickly vetted this attorney before hiring her and found positive reviews. However, after frustrated beyond belief and looking into her reputation further, we’ve found other clients who experienced the same unprofessionalism from her. Ms. Davalos is inept and lacks any professional courtesy. Unfortunately our family learned that the hard way.

Mrs Davalos showed kindness at beginning of our interaction but after she was hired she paid zero attention to my case and ended up losing me $50K+ in my divorce. When asked why she was disconnected she said it was a communication problem with her legal aides. I had to sell my house during the divo...rce to make up for her lack of attention. I do not recommend her.

Diana Davalos BEST family attorney I could ask for! I cannot thank her enough for how she handled my case and how she kept me informed throughout the entire process. My children mean the world to me and searching for the best attorney was very important to me. Diana Davalos exceeded my expectat...ions of the qualities a great attorney should have.
