This lawyer did nothing for us. He took our money and ignored our constant pleas to answer questions. Meanwhile our properties diminished and our return on investments went to nothing. I do not recommend this attorney at all. He may once have garnered accolades in his younger years, but he chooses c...lients that he cherry picks who he will invest his time in and still invoices all of his clients regardless of whether he does any work for them.

I hired Russell Amesberry to handle my divorce, expecting professionalism, responsiveness, and competent legal guidance. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. From the beginning, communication was poor. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for days, sometimes even weeks. Deadline...s were missed or nearly missed, causing unnecessary stress and potentially harming my case. I often felt like I had to manage and follow up on everything myself, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by hiring a professional. In court, seemed unprepared and lacked a clear strategy. Important documents were either incomplete or submitted late, and key points in my case were not effectively presented. The end result was far less favorable than it should have been, and I can't help but feel that stronger representation would have made a significant difference. Divorce is hard enough without having to worry if your lawyer is doing their job. Sadly, I cannot recommend him to anyone going through this already difficult process.

This attorney is arrogant, rude and disrespectful. He has poor communication skills and does not follow up on his cases. He charged me a $4000 retainer fee and did not refund it when I dropped him because he did not do the job that was expected, as a matter of fact, he did nothing. He then accused my... sister and I of threatening his staff which did not happen. He threatened us! Don't even attempt to hire him!

I know this is a late review since I went to him on March 10, 2010. I had a dispute with an employer, and I wanted to exercise accrued paid leave at the end of my contract. To get a one-paragraph two-sentence letter written, it took his staff 4 times to get the grammar, punctuation, and spelling corr...ect. As I said, this is a late review, but I can still see the phone calls to his office trying to get his people to fix the problem.

Russell Amsberry is an excellent lawyer as well as a nice person. He has also worked as an advocate in the past. He is very effective at resolving all types of legal and lawyer difficulties in the most expedient manner. I also recommend him to anyone who has been dealing with similar issues for a lon...g time.
