I found out before my son turned 18, that even though he was in high school at the time, that I would have no medical right to help my son medically without certain documents in place. You don't think about your high school kid being an adult, but that is exactly what they become and if you don't ha...ve a PLAN IN PLACE then you will not be able to help your child out since the doctors can't talk to you about what is happening and you can't give your opinion on which route to take medically should the need ever arise. Charlie explains everything clearly and even has a perfect mini-package that takes care of the above and even includes a will. Remember your kid is legally an adult at 18 and they need to be prepared for their future and Charlie is the BEST qualified lawyer to help you and your soon to be adult.
